One of our large architectural and engineering services clients specializing in worldwide design of secure, mission-driven facilities is seeking a remote Fire Protection Project Engineer to join their growing Life Safety team within Fire Protection to support their team in Glen Allen, VA and Lexington, KY. This role is a full-time permanent opportunity and training is provided. The Project Engineer will need to be able to manage engineer systems on medium-to-large scale projects and/or provide full engineering responsibility on smaller scale projects with limited guidance from more senior engineers. They will partner with senior engineers to generate project/task vision, resolve challenging problems, and to ensure and verify successful trajectory of deliverables. Other responsibilities include: Create and edit project documents to include Drawings (CAD / BIM), Specifications (editing and checking) and support documents (basis of design).
