ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop and design robust manufacturing processes to ensure best-practice and lean manufacturing concepts to achieve or exceed quality and operational efficiency goals. Apply mechanical strength knowledge in analyzing current processes for new product modifications and/or implementation of automation. Conduct internal cross-functional design reviews to obtain affected party inputs and change requests. Generate and maintain all CAD, detailed drawings, & BOMs from concept to completion. Will include both digital & physical copies with all general dimensions & tolerances. Develop and manage master engineering schedule for all projects. Lead, coordinate, and supervise others to achieve all plan objectives of the master schedule. Write equipment/tooling specifications, coordinate and oversee the design, construction, installation, start-up and trials of new equipment/tooling against the master schedule. This is a hands-on role that blends CAD-based design with real-world equipment assessments at client sites.
