Description

Deep analysis of timing paths to identify key issues.
Implement timing infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Experience with large design STA and Timing Closure.
Programming skills with Perl and TCL.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on experience in STA.
Familiar with important aspects of timing of large high‑performance SoC designs in sub‑micron technologies.
Proficient in STA and methodologies for timing closure and have a fundamental understanding of noise, crosstalk, and OCV effects, among others.
Familiar with circuit modeling, including SPICE models, and worst‑case corner selection.
Familiar with ECO techniques and implementation.
Good communicator who can accurately describe issues and follow them through to completion.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Purpose
As a Senior R&D Engineer, you are responsible for developing and improving our products and technologies. You are recognized by other team members to be able to identify and suggest solutions to difficult technical problems.
Main Responsibilities / Key Tasks
Develop and improve our products and technologies
Develop compiler component that translates tensor flow to hardware accelerator machine code.
Develop scripts for accessing data sets and training models.
