Key Responsibilities:
Lead the validation efforts for PLC-based control systems and enterprise IT systems.

Summary/Objective:
Our Project Engineer - MEP will work with the Project Managers (PM's) and Project Manager Assistants (PMA's) to provide leadership for our Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel project. Our Project Engineers interact daily with the field crews, customers, vendors, and subcontractors. Essential Functions:
A Project Engineer maintains project tracking reports to monitor productivity and labor utilization
Creates and maintain internal project schedules
Prepares complete, accurate and timely submittals for construction projects based on project drawings, specifications, and vendor information
Tracks and receives approved submittals from architect or engineer and coordinates with Project Team

Performs random project site audits for all stages in the production process and inspects materials for specifications and contract compliance.
Interacts effectively with the NAVFAC Quality Control personnel to ensure.
Previous Federal construction experience is preferred.

Engineer II assists the Laundry Director of Operations, Laundry Chief Plant Engineer, Production Manager, Production Supervisor, and Laundry Attendants to maximize plant productivity and efficiencies. This role will require the Engineer II to perform maintenance services after production hours while the laundry machines are not in operation.
Responsibilities
1. Provide daily routine preventative maintenance and repairs to all Central Laundry equipment to include greasing/ lubricating, checking belt and/ or chain tension, making sure the equipment is clean and lint-free and performing a general inspection to ensure proper functionality.
2. Maintain and track inventory spare parts, supplies, tools, and equipment.
3. Works with all of the production and mechanical equipment throughout the plant.
4. Attends all departmental, company- wide, and factory in-service training and education programs.
5. Provides prompt feedback to the Chief Laundry Plant Engineer and Engineer I on production,
6. maintenance, safety, security, and physical environment issues.
7. Always works as a team player to provide quality linen services, whether directly or indirectly. With a scope of responsibility, each employee will assist other team members in accomplishing their job duties in order to "get the job done".
8. Holds self and team members accountable for knowledge of and full compliance with customer service performance standards as listed on all team member's job descriptions. Customer is defined as hotel guest, restaurant patron, fellow employee, and supplier/vendor.
9. Participates in planning and in the efficient, effective management/ utilization of company resources and assets.
10. Supports and is actively involved in quality improvement initiatives.
11. Responsible for preventative maintenance, repairing, and operating all of the Central Laundry plant equipment.
12. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on all major equipment to include but not limited to:
a. Laundry equipment
b. Kitchen equipment
c. Air handlers
d. Pumps
e. Motors
13. Repairs all equipment as needed
14. Repairs all in-unit items as needed on appliances, cabinetry, doors, etc.
15. Performs all necessary laundry facility and public area repairs and maintenance.
16. Provide General "handyman" skills
Qualifications

Experience Minimum of one year of maintenance experience, with special emphasis on preventative maintenance preferred.
Experience High schools diploma required, any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
Experience Significant experience with all maintenance disciplines.
Skill Possess a working knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, mechanics to include water and steam.
Skill Proficient in reading OEM schematics, reading equipment manuals, and ordering repair parts.

THIS ROLE:
The Project Engineer is the leader responsible for all aspects of production & survey within our dredging projects including providing technical/operational expertise to the operations team. WHAT YOULL DO:
Manage all survey assets
Develop dig strategy with project management
Analyze survey data to advise/plan daily dredge plan
Responsible for all technical/operational aspects of survey in the assigned project within the guidelines set by the Project Manager and customer
Generate daily survey related deliverables and discuss survey results with Project Manager and crew
Perform survey related calculations
Define, generate, and review project requirements documentation within defined scope
Develop work plans and hazard analysis to ensure safety and efficiency
Resolve of engineering, material and planning issues

Work with purchasing department on vessel specific purchases needed which includes sourcing from appropriate vendors and arranging the shipment

Continental Tide is seeking an experienced Engineer to support our Engineering department and Fleet Services Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for project management, installations, repair, and modernization initiatives onboard ships.
Essential duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Works with Senior Management, Program Managers and Project Leads with both Surface and Submarine Alterations, Repair or Fleet Modernization projects.
Ensure projects and initiatives progress as scheduled and contract specifications are adhered to.
Interface with clients and customers regarding tasking.
Perform duties outside of specialty to complete work assignment.
Requirements:
Must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
Target experience of five (5) years of experience in design, installation, testing and/or repair of ships and ship systems aboard US Navy, Military Sealift Command and/or US Coast Guard ships.
Direct experience in ship repair and installation of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems and equipment on surface ships and submarines.
Ability to perform detailed ship checks involving collection of data necessary to develop the applicable design modifications for systems and components required to support the system design change
Ability to read and interpret ship installation drawings, installation specifications and NAVSEA Standard Items is a must.
