MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: BASIC KNOWLEDGE: Minimum of two years Associates Degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or related discipline. Completion of two years training in boiler operations and turbo-generator operations generally acquired from a technical school or military service. Requires Stationary Operating Engineer's License from the City of Providence. Supervisory skills to effectively direct the work of others. Analytical ability to plan, schedule and coordinate work projects and to troubleshoot problems. Knowledge of the thermodynamics of steam, the principals of generators and electricity.
