Role Overview:
Intramotev is seeking MechanicalEngineering Internship candidates to join the MechanicalEngineering team to support the development of electric propulsion systems for self-propelled rail vehicles. This full-time, in-office paid position, based in St. Louis, MO, involves working in a dynamic team environment. Due to the research nature of the work, project objectives and requirements are likely to evolve.
Position Responsibilities:
Executes conceptual and detailed design tasks related to mechanical elements of the powertrain/drivetrain system.
Contributes to the design and development of powertrain components including electric motors, gearboxes/transmissions, drivetrain suspension, drive couplings, cooling systems, and enclosures.
Assists in designing and implementing powertrain testing infrastructure, including test stand fixtures and dyno equipment.
Completes 3D mechanical design using relevant software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, Fusion).
Completes 2D drawings.
Participates in design reviews and peer reviews.
Collaborates with manufacturing colleagues to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) requirements are met.

About You:
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Working towards a Bachelor's degree in mechanicalengineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field. * This internship is open to students after completing their sophomore or junior years of school, as well as graduate students.
Previous internship, university research, or extra-curricular experience with electromechanical/multidisciplinary product design.
Understanding of design for vehicle manufacturing processes.
Experience with 3D modeling software and GD&T.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. CPT/OPT is supported.
Fluent in both written and verbal English.

Candidate should have a working knowledge of one or (ideally) multiple areas listed below:
Rail Vehicles / Rail Systems.

**Job Summary**
Join us as a MechanicalEngineer II, responsible for the development, testing and analysis of a variety of HVAC&R products for both commercial and defense markets including heat exchanger coils, rugged air conditioning systems, refrigeration plants, and air handling systems. Overview
The Electrical Energy Engineer for the Development Team is responsible for independently assessing building electrical systems while performing technical on-site surveys and in-office analysis on assigned projects. Analysis will include participation in technical studies, investigations, and development of energy-efficient scope on assigned projects.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Assists in the production of projects that are on-time, within-budget, and meet the requirements of industry standards & codes and client specifications.
• Leads, schedules, and conducts site surveys to determine existing facility electrical equipment, interconnection, metering, and conditions independently. Assists in identifying and preparing energy efficient scope of schematic design phase of projects.
• Performs electrical system calculations including solar energy generation, battery sizing, generator power system sizing, wire and panel sizing, electric vehicle charging, etc.

• Assists Mechanical Survey Team with necessary electrical infrastructure designs to support proposed mechanical equipment changes/upgrades. Can include design work involving switchgears, switchboards, manual/automatic transfer switches, transformers, metering, and generators.
• Assists all Renewables Team members with questions concerning electrical engineering design, codes, and one line diagram creation.
• Assists the development team in the coordination with other disciplines, including energy modeling, demand management, financial modeling, lighting, detailed design, etc.
• Assist the Director-DER with Quality Control reviews of project work by other team members.
• Attends and/or teaches in-house and external training sessions in necessary technical areas related to building systems.
