Responsibilities
+ Perform assignments of a complex nature requiring a high degree of technical competence while planning, organizing, and conducting technical projects related to power generation enclosure systems design.
+ Conceive and plan projects to explore and resolve product or process problems, defining and selecting new concepts and approaches to the design or development of new or improved products, equipment, or processes.
+ Consolidate and present results of design reviews of major projects to members of the engineering group.

+ Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and bills of materials using the release process.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in design, mechanicalengineering, and SolidWorks.
+ 5+ years of experience in new product development (NPD) and engineer-to-order (ETO) business and product engineering.
+ Experience in design for sheet metal-based products and metal fabrication manufacturing.
+ Experience in design for manufacturability (DFM).
+ SolidWorks or relevant 3D CAD experience.
+ Project management skills.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, 3D modeling, and mechanical design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of applicable experience including direct involvement in the design and manufacturing of mechanical systems used in the power generation industry.

Position Scope
This is an in-office position that works out of the Gurnee, IL manufacturing site that reports directly to our Engineering Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position is very much one of being a working supervisor. While supervising contracted personnel, both professional and hands-on, the individual is expected to maintain a sizable project load.
Direct or oversight responsibility for many of the capital projects undertaken at Vantage Oleochemicals. The normal flow of events in a project may include: completion of project design and developing a firm cost estimate, firm project design and a commitment on equipment, developing bid packages and going to contractors for bids on equipment and installation, coordinating and checking the actual construction, start-up and modifications of finished equipment and an Advice of Physical Completion for the project, and recommending routing maintenance, spare parts, listing necessary information and a financial closing (over or under estimate and why). May act as a Field Construction Manager or, in some cases, the Commissioning Manager.
In the area of technical assistance, the incumbent investigates problems of a production, maintenance or technical nature, such as equipment failure or a process bottleneck.
Problem Solving:
Study existing situations (equipment, processes, manufacturing procedures, etc.), considering possible improvements or modifications, and preparing reports complete with conclusions and recommendations as a result of studies.
Incumbent plans or assist in planning the approach to projects or segments of projects assigned by supervisor and for plant turnarounds.
When assigned complete responsibility for small projects, supervises and participates in all aspects of the projects from inception to start-up (designs, estimates, calculations, test runs, etc.) and resolves all problems encountered.
Works routinely with other department heads and managers to assist in formulation of Vantage Oleochemicals' capital plan and refines proposals for submittal.
Accountability:
While reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, there remains a strong dotted line to the site manager and his staff. Actions taken and plans developed must be formulated with an eye to the site manager being the real customer.
Responsible for assisting in the development of technical improvements in equipment, processes, manufacturing procedures, etc. Directly affects profits by assisting in trouble-shooting equipment and/or process malfunctions and thereby restoring the plant to maximum operating efficiency. Responsible for adherence to safety and health rules & regulations.
Financial Responsibility:
Plays a major role in executing the Capital budget of approximately $10 Million per annum. Annually supervises or participates in 10-12 small ($25,000 or less) construction projects from inception to start-up. Annually manages 1 or 2 major ($.5MM and up) projects, assuming total responsibility for cost, scope, and technical success.
Education & Experience:
Education: Bachelors degree in MechanicalEngineering is required.
Experience:
Minimum 5 to 10 years of engineering experience.
Supervisory experience with small groups desirable.
Well-developed human relations and communications skills.
Experience in the chemical industry or other process plants, with related technologies is strongly preferred.

Pay
The estimated base pay range for this position is: $96k - $144k annually. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, qualifications, skills and geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive program.

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our development team. We are willing to consider candidates with wide range of backgrounds and experience. The position will be located in Franksville, WI.
This position will design, implement and maintain the various mechanical products required for extracting fluids in the Oil & Gas industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, implement, test, debug and provide ongoing support for mechanical assemblies used in Oil & Gas
Adhere to established processes and revision control standards
Solicit and incorporate customer and end user feedback to further improve our products
Conduct and participate in design reviews
Respectfully champion new ideas and features, big or small
Document designs with ample comments, reports, and descriptions
Track and resolve reported bugs and perform thorough testing to verify the effectiveness of the fix
Design and develop reusable mechanical parts and integrate them into existing and new designs
Work closely with software engineers in the planning, design and development of products to ensure hardware and software performance and compatibility
Serve as technical lead on assigned projects, working with other functional groups and customers to meet deliverables, and to address and resolve technology or product issues to honor commitments
Interact and guide production resources as needed
Minimum Qualifications :
BS in MechanicalEngineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Master's degree preferred.
Experience with gearing and structural standards
Proficient in design & simulation of mechanical parts (preferably Solidworks)
Organized with the ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening) and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of professionals

Job Description
The Warehouse MechanicalEngineering Internship provides hands-on experience supporting facility layout design, equipment placement, and operational optimization within a warehouse environment. This role will work closely with the Facilities Manager and Operations Team to verify, update, and maintain accurate facility and work cell layouts using AutoCAD. The internship offers practical exposure to mechanicalengineering concepts applied to real-world warehouse operations and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Verify and update existing facility and work cell layouts in AutoCAD to ensure accuracy and alignment with current warehouse operations.
Collaborate with the Facilities Manager and Operations Team to review equipment placement, work cell configurations, and space utilization.
Conduct physical walkthroughs of the warehouse to validate layouts, measurements, and equipment locations against existing drawings.
Assist with documenting layout changes, revisions, and version control for facility drawings.
Support facility planning initiatives related to equipment moves, process changes, and space optimization.
Assist with data collection related to space utilization, workflow, and material flow to support layout improvements.
Maintain organized digital files and documentation for facility layouts and engineering records.
Provide general engineering and administrative support to the Facilities and Operations teams as needed.
Qualifications
MechanicalEngineering Knowledge
: Pursuing a degree in MechanicalEngineering or a related area of study, with foundational understanding of mechanical and facility design principles.
AutoCAD Proficiency:
Experience or coursework using AutoCAD, with the ability to review, update, and create facility and layout drawings.
Attention to Detail
: Strong accuracy when verifying measurements, layouts, and documentation.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify layout inefficiencies and support practical solutions in a warehouse environment.
Communication Skills:
