The Project Engineer can expect cross functional collaboration across all teams and specialties, providing an opportunity to interact with The Wooten Company colleagues in both North and South Carolina. Requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Strong technical skills in design of water, storm water, and wastewater utilities with cradle-to-grave competency including: Preliminary Engineering Reports New and Rehabilitation Designs Project Manual Preparation including Construction Contract Documents and Technical Specifications Coordination with other disciplines as necessary including mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers. Project Advertisement, Bidding, and Contracting Experience with design of water distribution systems and / or sanitary sewer collection Familiarity with federal, state and local agency regulations, primarily concerning municipal water and wastewater projects Good communication skills and the ability to be involved in presentations to clients / attend meetings MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS B.S.
