The candidate will spend most of their time developing 3D mechanical models and drawings, while also participating in site visits for field measurements, equipment documentation, and occasional 3D LiDAR scanning. Assist with or perform 3D LiDAR scanning of existing equipment and environments (experience preferred, but training available). Proficiency in 3D parametric CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar). Strong understanding of fabrication processes including welding, machining, and sheet metal manufacturing. Ability to read and apply weld symbols, tolerancing standards, and mechanical detail drawings. Ability to implement a systematic, data-driven approach to investigate and resolve significant or recurring problems within an organization's processes, products or systems. Comfortable working in food processing plants, mechanical rooms, and shop floors. Comfortable engaging and communicating with customers in similar industries.
