Serves as a primary mechanical design engineer for projects, producing design/construction drawings under the supervision of more-senior staff.

Generates mechanical design/construction drawings utilizing REVIT and AutoCAD software.
Observes mechanical construction progress as directed by more senior staff and generates field observation reports.
Is responsible for completion of mechanical design tasks within budget and on schedule.
Assists with designs, writing of reports and correspondence with other discipline professionals, as well as representatives of the Client organization to help complete work efficiently.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering -OR-- Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical focus, from an ABET-accredited university.
2-4 years of documented applicable experience, working on facilities for healthcare; higher education; institutional; federal, state, and local government; K-12 education & support; and other commercial/industrial facilities.
Resides in the greater Central Florida area, such as within one of the following counties: Orange, Seminole, Volusia, Brevard, Osceola and Lake; Or is willing to relocate to the aforementioned counties.
Ability to work in person a minimum of three (3) days weekly in the local office located in east Orlando, Florida right next to the UCF campus.
Ability to travel to project locations and client meetings throughout east and north Florida. Travel beyond this primary area may occasionally also be required.
Significant applicable experience using Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD MEP.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, as well as Bluebeam.
Strong knowledge of the FBC Mechanical code and ASHRAE standards commensurate with their years of experience.
Ability to climb ladders and perform typical field survey duties of existing facilities.
Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record.
Pass a drug test.

Project Engineering Intern positions include Engineering, Field Engineering (mechanical or civil), Cost Engineering, Safety Engineering, Estimating, Finance/Accounting, and Equipment/Maintenance. **Project Engineering Intern Required Qualifications:**

+ Ability to perform all work in a timely, professional, and efficient manner while effectively communicating and interacting with customers, clients, subcontractors, and other third parties;

+ Working towards a bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field or equivalent through experience

We are looking for motivated thermal engineers to develop cutting-edge products for our military, governmental, and commercial customers. Our current designs extend the range of hypersonic vehicles, enable power dense laser weapons on small platforms, and lower size, weight, and power for aerospace systems. Components we routinely develop include coldplates for electronics, heat exchangers, thermal energy storage devices, and mechanical components for thermal systems. Our group of thermal engineers drive products from conception to production including product ideation, research, laboratory/prototype builds, experimental testing, and design for manufacture. Individual engineers lead their own projects and research. Your creativity and interest determine the next technology you investigate. We currently use advanced techniques like microchannel cooling, three-dimensional cooling passages through additive manufacturing, membrane enhanced cooling, oscillating heat pipes. This position includes proposal writing for your next idea, analytical calculations, computational simulations (CFD and FEA), laboratory build and testing, and direct customer interfacing.
