Responsibilities: Assist with the execution and support of Raymond projects Participate in project management meetings Assist project management in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, safety, and quality standards are met Conduct a contract review Assist in the development and maintenance of construction project schedules Participate in process submittals and RFI reviews Take part in safety and quality control walks Participate in project take-off and/or project close-out Create purchase orders and change orders Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or its equivalent Actively pursuing a Construction Management or Engineering degree at an accredited university OR possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in construction or a related field Possess strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills Can work independently and as part of a team Adaptable and interested in working on multiple, different assignments Able to effectively interact with all levels of personnel and management Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Preferred Experience: Prior work experience in the field on a commercial construction site OSHA 10-hour training or equivalent safety training Able to read blueprints EEO/Vet/Disabled. Our client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team to research and develop projects associated with the design and development of new products, models, or mechanisms and to investigate and resolve technical problems involving product performance. Key Responsibilities Design complex aircraft hardware from initial concepts through sales drawings, detailed parts, and final documentation. Own multiple design projects from concept through testing, validation, and production release. Work directly with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to resolve design and build challenges. Define specifications, standards, and performance requirements. Collaborate with sales teams and customers to clarify requirements and address design or manufacturing constraints. Perform additional related duties as needed. Must be able to work at an ITAR facility. Qualifications/Education: BSME or 10+ years of relevant experience. Strong understanding of mechanical components (gears, bearings, actuators, controls, etc.). Working knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, mechanics, and stress analysis. Familiarity with military/commercial specs and drafting standards. Proficiency in SolidWorks, Word, and Excel. Comfortable working directly with customers and cross-functional teams; solid communication skills. Strong mechanical/math aptitude. Experience: Minimum 2 years of design experience in mechanical aircraft components or hardware. Physical & Work Environment Occasional standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs). Office environment with moderate noise; factory floor located in the same building with some exposure to noise and fumes. Occasional travel to customers or suppliers.
