Qualifications:
8-10 years of post-doctoral professional experience in mechanical design or thermal systems engineering.
Proven experience designing and implementing data center mechanical systems, preferably on hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise projects.
Direct experience with liquid cooling, direct-to-chip, or hybrid air/liquid cooling systems.
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics in high-density environments.
Demonstrated experience working with design and construction teams through all project phases.
Proficiency with CFD modeling tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, 6SigmaDCX, Icepak) and mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar).

**Job Description**
In this role, the Advanced Lead Test Engineer acts as the Test Director, coordinating test card execution, setup, facility needs, inspections, and deliverables. Responsible for the readiness, setup, and execution of commercial and military Development Engine Tests. Coordinate engineering requirements, partner with Evaluation and Systems engineering, contribute to the design and implementation of new test systems, upgrade existing ones, and lead the test operations team to execute test campaigns. Experience and expertise will be utilized to solve problems, develop objectives, and impact both short-term and some long-term business goals. The position involves improving existing products and components, planning and executing within standard functional practices and procedures, and operating with some autonomy while receiving limited guidance from senior-level personnel.
This position is 100% on site at Edwards AFB, California.
**Qualifications/Requirements:**
+ Active Military personnel on the last 180 days before exiting Military Service
+ Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering from an ABET university or college
+ At least 4 additional years of experience in an Engineering position (Military experience is accepted)
+ Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher
