This business area focuses on the support, design, analysis, modification, integration, ground and flight testing, airworthiness certification, and logistics support of airborne ISR platforms that are primarily highly modified commercial-derivative aircraft. Velera's Summer Internship Program provides you - a junior or senior undergraduate student - with the chance to develop and hone your skills in business. The Opportunity: The Intern is expected to have good communication skills, understanding of data engineering or analytics, and be self-motivated. The project work will center around reporting and supporting our Databricks ETL framework and development such as:. Pipeline ETL measuring and performance Improved documentation (Wiki) Metapedia validation and improvement AI/ML (Databricks) discovery and improvements Python coding (nice to have) Day in the Life: Attend team Agile meetings as scheduled. Research of necessary topics (Example: Databricks features and limitations). Reading and updating Wiki pages. Viewing, analyzing, and reporting on Databricks jobs and code.
