Must not be allergic to jet fuel, oils, hydraulic fluids or cleaning solvents. ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Aircraft experience, preferably on Falcon aircraft. Experience in a production atmosphere. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS (Post SkillBridge): This opportunity is part of the DoD SkillBridge program and is unpaid during the SkillBridge training period. However, if you are offered a position following your SkillBridge internship, the salary you can expect typically falls between $24 and $40.11 per hour/per year. The Mechanical Engineer II will be responsible for the mechanical design and development of distribution transformers in compliance with IEEE, CSA, and customer specifications. This role requires a solid foundation of mechanical engineering design principles as they pertain to structural and thermal requirements unique to transformer applications. Overview The IS Mechanical Designer I will design mechanical systems, components, or assemblies using engineering principles. Responsibilities Works closely with project managers, engineers and contractors to create unique high-level concepts and designs for all assigned projects. The instructions are technical in nature but are to be used by non-technical consumers such as a VIP passenger or cabin crew. This candidate will create multi-media instructions for a new aircraft system. The candidate will apply their experience gained in creating content to organize existing content into re-usable modules. Experience gained: technical writing with layout optimization and aesthetics, multi-media production, project management, data continuity, various authoring software tools.
