Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Assist in the mechanical design of new chemical monitoring and management systems, including modules, assemblies, and individual parts. Responsibilities include:
Creating detailed 3D models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
Preparing accurate technical documentation in Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of two years of college
Experience in Inventor 3D CAD and AutoCAD software is strongly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective collaboration with other team members.

Program Overview
The KIELY Internship Program is seeking college students like you that would like to join us on our mission to leave things better than we found them. The program runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day with consideration on semester starting/ending dates.
The program is intended to help college students:
* Develop work skills and knowledge
* Succeed in the construction and engineering industry
* Be a link between a student's educational goals and career objectives
* Lead to full time employment with the Kiely Family of Companies.
With the guidance of a mentor, you will be challenged with work assignments in your area, producing weekly progress reports and be given a chance to present to our Leadership Team at the conclusion of your internship. Competitive pay offered $18- $20 per hour based upon prior experience.

Assignments will vary based upon business need, geographic location, and student skill set. We offer flexible schedules and competitive pay for this opportunity where you will be challenged to think strategically and enhance stakeholder value.
Basic Qualifications
* Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with an accredited institution (Engineering program preferred in business unit areas)
* Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship
* Ability to define success and speak to how you intend to measure and achieve it
Preferred Qualifications
* Completion of freshman year by the start of internship
* Demonstrated leadership experience through previous work or campus experience
* Construction Industry experience
Position Criteria
* Transportation to and from the worksite and for incidental business travel is your responsibility
* A formal presentation, designed and presented by you, will occur at the conclusion of the internship. You will showcase your achievements toward the project to leaders of the organization and receive feedback on your performance
* You must share in our belief that together, we can develop a strong shared purpose

**The Opportunity**
+ Design of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) services within the built environment, with an emphasis on sustainable design
+ Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants to develop integrated solutions for complex buildings
+ Perform engineering analysis and modelling, including whole building load calculations and energy analysis, facade thermal analysis, and airflow modelling
+ Document system design in Revit MEP
+ Communicate technical ideas to a broad range of audiences using various formats, including presentations and workshops

**Newark Hiring Range -** The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Newark is $26.50 to $47.50 per hour. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. We are currently searching for a Water Engineer Intern to support our team in Paramus, NJ. We are looking for dedicated, creative, and energetic candidates interested in tackling challenges and developing sustainable solutions to address water issues. Collaborating with our experienced water professionals, you will support and drive the development of projects, interact, and work with clients, and develop your technical capabilities.
Role accountabilities:
The Water Engineer Intern will possess a strong foundation in engineering concepts and theories related to climate resilience and stormwater management. You will need to have technical aptitude and be familiar with various software tools such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, and PowerBI, which are beneficial for project work. You will need to be skilled in evaluating, planning, designing, and supporting the management of projects involving stormwater management, green infrastructure, climate adaptation, and design of nature-based solutions. Additionally, you will need to provide valuable support in project management efforts including managing project scopes, budgets, and client deliverables.
In addition, the following will be expected of the Water Engineering Intern:
* Assess, develop, and support management of sustainability, stormwater management, and resilience projects.
* Exercise judgment on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives
* Perform fieldwork activities such as site visits and construction inspection.
* Support collection and analysis of data including statistical analysis, analytics, research and synthesis.
* Attend outreach activities and external meetings related to climate adaptation and stormwater management projects.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials, and participate in client meetings.
Use digital tools to enhance customer experience, team and client collaboration, and project delivery including configuration and deployment of SharePoint, Power BI, and Augmented Reality, as well as designing and managing databases and cloud-based computing services
