Overview:
The Engineering Mechanic is responsible for performing skilled repairs to the building and equipment and to maintain the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to guests and employees.
Responsibilities:
Answer all guest issues
Answer all in-house departmental calls
Replace guest unit motor, thermostats, valves
Repair / replace all tub / sink faucets and associated piping
Remove and replace toilets
Replace light bulbs, repair lamps, replace outlets, switches, - guest room and public areas
Repair vacuum cleaners
Work with engineers on all piping jobs
Work with engineers on guest unit replacement
Remove and replace guest unit covers and side panels
Replace, adjust, reset all TV's
Clear all sink tub, and toilet stoppages
Change guest room filters
Replace smoke detector batteries
Remove and install guest room safes, bathroom locks, and closet door knobs
Remove & install hairdryers, mirrors, shower rods, towel racks, iron board and brackets
Repair and /or replace furniture handles
Remove and replace guest locks with security
Remove and re-install clean refrigerators
Remove and re-install black-out valance and refasten black-out shade brackets
Qualifications:
Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

Project Engineering Intern positions include Engineering, Field Engineering (mechanical or civil), Cost Engineering, Safety Engineering, Estimating, Finance/Accounting, and Equipment/Maintenance.
