Role Overview As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at REGENT, you'll support the development of structural, mechanical, and electromechanical systems for our seagliders - vehicles that blend aerospace performance with marine durability. The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for assisting with in-house engineering and design work. This may include creating and editing 3D models, CNC program files, and 2D technical drawings. The position reports to the Design and Engineering manager. In addition, the Mechanical Design Engineer may work on the shop floor to learn and assist lay-up, assembly, and outfit of components.
