Purpose and Scope
Under direct supervision of a lead Airlift mechanic or shift supervisor, performs inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on company aircraft.
Essential Responsibilities:
The incumbent individually performs inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer and company maintenance manuals and procedures.
Services, operates and maintains ground support equipment and performs interior and exterior cleaning of aircraft and work areas.
Must precisely complete all maintenance documentation.
Performs additional duties of a Flight Mechanic, Flight Attendant or other job-related duties, as required.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Possess an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license in good standing.
Three or more years of directly related heavy aircraft maintenance experience is highly desired.
Experience must include complying with all applicable aircraft servicing procedures, aircraft maintenance manuals and parts catalogs.
Must read, interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, wiring/schematic diagrams, data tables and other specifications to determine feasibility and method to repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged components.
Must be able to inspect, repair, and operate ground support and auxiliary equipment.
Will be required to qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and associated work location access.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Must possess the ability to carry and lift overhead up to 50 pounds. Duties include walking, climbing, standing, stooping, stretching and squatting for purposes of moving equipment, boarding and de-boarding the aircraft, performing maintenance using ladders, and performing maintenance atop and below aircraft. Must be able to work at high altitudes when performing flight attendant duties. Work is primarily performed outside in a high-level noise environment. Performing maintenance in low-light areas, operating support equipment after daylight hours. Work is occasionally performed in inclement weather.

Overview
Omega Technical Services is seeking a Senior MechanicalEngineer (Level III-IV) to to provide support to our client in the North Las Vegas, NV area. The Senior MechanicalEngineer will support building, utility, equipment, and infrastructure projects through the development of Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs) and Project Requirements Specifications (PRSs).
This role is focused on front-end engineering, systems definition, and stakeholder coordination, supporting multi-disciplinary projects involving building systems, utilities, equipment, and fire protection interfaces. The selected engineer will work closely with Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and stakeholders to define technical requirements, develop conceptual layouts, and finalize engineering requirements documentation in support of DOE-regulated facilities and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Develop FRDs and PRSs for building, utility, equipment, and infrastructure projects.
Break down project scope into functional and non-functional requirements, constraints, and performance criteria.
Collaborate with IPTs, engineering disciplines, and stakeholders to gather inputs and resolve technical requirements.
Research applicable DOE Orders, federal/state/local codes, standards, and prior project documentation.
Utilize existing templates and lessons learned from previous projects to support consistent documentation.
Develop conceptual visualizations, including layouts, site plans, and perspective views to support requirements definition.
Perform document reviews, comment resolution, and finalization of FRD/PRS packages.
Support coordination across mechanical, civil, electrical, fire protection, and other engineering disciplines.
Participate in project meetings and reviews, including occasional on-site engagements as required.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in MechanicalEngineering from an accredited institution.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of progressive mechanicalengineering experience supporting facilities, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Demonstrated experience developing or contributing to engineering requirements documents (FRDs, PRSs, design criteria, or equivalent).
Working knowledge of Federal (including DOE Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanicalengineering.
Experience with building systems and utilities, including some combination of HVAC, plumbing, process piping, industrial exhaust, or facility equipment systems.

The Revit MEP Drafter supports our engineering teams in producing high-quality construction documents for mechanical (HVAC/plumbing) systems. Ideal candidates are comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative BIM environment.

The Revit MEP Drafter supports our engineering teams in producing high-quality construction documents for mechanical (HVAC/plumbing) systems. Ideal candidates are comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative BIM environment.
Essential Job Functions/Duties:
Work with engineers to develop and update original drawings and revisions for engineering projects using Revit MEP models, AutoCAD, 3D, and other software for HVAC and plumbing system projects.
Draft layouts based on engineer markups and red lines.
Coordinate model elements to support various level engineers and project managers during the planning and design stages of projects.
Assist with the development and maintenance of standard Revit families, templates, details and graphic standards.
Assist with the development and maintenance of standard AutoCAD templates, details and graphic standards.
