Mechanical Design Engineer - Hydraulics
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with a focus on hydraulic systems to support product design and integration. This role involves working closely with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams to develop efficient, cost-effective solutions. Key responsibilities include 3D modeling with Creo, creating 2D drawings, supporting assembly line challenges, and troubleshooting hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities
Communication with suppliers and customers on product selection and integration
Use of Creo and Windchill to support 3-D Modeling of components, sheet metal and hydraulic or electrical routings.
Creation and support of 2D drawings and specification documentation

Our client, a world leader in life sciences and diagnostics, is looking for a āMechanical System Engineerā based out of Tucson, AZ (Relocation assistance provided).
Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate : $42/hr on W2

We are seeking a motivated, hands -on Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in electro -mechanical systems and a solid understanding of path lab technologies. This onsite role is ideal for someone who thrives in a lab environment, collaborates effectively, and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply advanced engineering principles to the design, development, and testing of complex electro -mechanical systems.
Generate design concepts, create detailed CAD models, and participate in technical design reviews.
Develop and execute engineering and lab testing protocols to evaluate system performance against design specifications.
Perform reliability testing, system -level assessments, and root -cause investigations.
Support development of manufacturing processes and assist in troubleshooting equipment or process issues.
Drive process optimization, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Hands -on expertise in path lab technologies (e.g., tissue diagnostics systems, staining instruments, sample preparation equipment).
Proficiency in CAD software, especially SolidWorks (modeling, assemblies, drawings).
Demonstrated ability to write and execute lab or engineering test protocols.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
High degree of creativity, innovation, and dedication to process optimization and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
