The Intern, Yield Engineering participates in an internship within the Pricing, Strategy or Costing departments within ArcBest Yield learning to: 1) analyze supply chain solution opportunities to meet customer logistics needs while using and interpreting all relevant cost, market, and value-added information; 2) provide internal management consulting for ArcBest leaders that deepens understanding of profitability drivers; or, 3) provide analytical support for new and existing business opportunities while developing innovative tools and processes to advance strategic yield initiatives - respectively. Where you will work This opportunity will be based onsite at one of our 3 mills, which includes Augusta, GA, Cypress Bend, AR or Lewiston, ID. The Augusta mill sits along the Savannah River, on the state border between Georgia and South Carolina and manufactures light, medium, and heavy weight coated paperboard. It is a well-invested SBS paperboard manufacturing facility with approximately 600 thousand tons of capacity. This facility boasts over 700 employees and has been in operation for almost 65 years. The Cypress Bend facility is located in the historic Mississippi River Delta and produces bleached paperboard and bleached Kraft pulp, used in the production of folding cartons, commercial print paperboard, carded packaging, and cupstock.
