Summary: The Maintenance Technician can perform a wide variety of work to ensure that the facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe and effective working condition. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing work in all operational and Facilities areas, depending upon the immediate needs of the department. While Maintenance Technicians may have developed skills in one or more areas, all are expected to be able to perform general maintenance and repair in all areas of assignment, which may include equipment, motor and conveyor repair and maintenance as well as building maintenance including lighting, electrical and plumbing in any of the distribution centers.
Responsibilities

Maintains building, equipment, shop and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition.
Completes work orders for work performed and includes parts and inventory used.
Document all work order activities to comply with MP2 requirements, providing documented records of the activities performed.
Follow lockout-tag out procedures, confined space procedures, and other safety and environmental procedures and policies as required.
Experience working in maintenance in a distribution center setting.
Building conveyor maintenance experience required.

Individual will possess knowledge and experience to support Versar Global Solutions' team performance on assigned United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Recurring Maintenance and Minor Repair (RMMR) task orders. This position work in the Project Management Office (PMO) for the Deputy Program Manager and is responsible for the overall approach for performing recurring maintenance activities required by the task order. What You'll Do:
Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules in accordance with contract requirements. Manage contract master schedules as well as the three-week look ahead schedules, which encompass maintenance, repair work, quality, and safety inspections.
Review RM reports and deficiency lists for completeness, quality, accuracy, and contract compliance. Route documents for corrections and/or signatures through multiple entities, ensuring timelines required by the contract are met. Upload approved report versions into the USACE Resident Management System (RMS).
Coordinate notification of maintenance visits with project management and ensure documentation into computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Coordinate with field personnel to ensure accurate and updated FMPs.
Document inspection dates and RM report submission and approval dates, among others.
Create/update CMMS for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) site details, maintenance schedules, and repair work schedules if needed.
Track, analyze, and report information appropriately to allow project management team to manage their projects and evaluate weekly reports.
File and manage cloud-based programs and/or share drive files with RM reports and documentation.
Initiate purchase requisitions in the CMMS for subcontractors doing RM events and route to project team for approval.
Review/approve invoices related to RM events and repair work for contract compliance, accuracy, and quality.
Attend project update meetings, ensuring accurate lists and statuses for work assigned.
Conduct/support initial site visits for equipment inventorying as well as visits to USACE HQ for end-of-year reviews, if needed.

What You Bring:
Proven experience in maintenance supervision or a similar role
Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
Exceptional leadership and team management skills
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are a plus

Franklin University, a private, independent, accredited, not-for-profit University located in Columbus, Ohio invites applicants for its MaintenanceSupervisor position. The MaintenanceSupervisor will serve as leadership for the Maintenance Technicians and Assistants, and provide support in the upkeep and evolution of the University's physical campus, buildings and equipment in a proactive, predictive and preventative manner.
This role will work an onsite schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the Assistant Director of Facilities, Planning, and Management to receive, process and monitor work requests through our work request system
Schedule preventive and routine maintenance duties with staff, internal clients, vendors and contractors
Communicate with internal clients regarding status of work being performed
Supervise and maintain all aspects of landscaping
Servicing and repair to electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, University vehicles and equipment
Snow and ice removal
Other duties as may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
5 years of building maintenance experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of basic electricity, carpentry, drywall/plaster repairs, plumbing, and landscaping
Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel
2 years of previous supervisory experience
Must be able to demonstrate a basic mechanical aptitude and be able to operate basic maintenance, construction and landscaping equipment
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, be detailed oriented, dependable and possess excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Must possess a valid driver's license, have a satisfactory motor vehicle report at time of hire, and maintain it throughout the duration of employment with the University
Preferred Skills and Characteristics:
Level 1 Building Operators Certificate or equivalent
OSHA training certifications
HVAC certifications
Additional Notes:
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
May require work in inclement weather
Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Flexible work hours that may occasionally include hours outside of normal business hours
