Job duties and other related activities as assigned:

+ Must demonstrate competencies necessary to meet business requirements. May perform as a member of a functional and/or cross- functional team.

+ Assembly, disassembly of complex electrical and mechanical systems in accordance with common military, commercial, and aerospace specifications.

+ Must possess practical knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical assembly processes.

+ Must be able to perform duties using pneumatic tools, electric tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment.

+ Electrical duties include, but are not limited to, assembly/disassembly of parts/components/hardware, connectors, and wiring into cabinets, chassis, and console type assemblies.

+ Mechanical duties include, but are not limited to, assembly/disassembly/adjustment of parts/components/hardware in complex mechanical systems.

+ May perform informal, in-process checks on manufactured or processed items to assist authorized formal inspection and/or test personnel in determining product validation or assist other related job classifications when directed.

+ Requires bending, reaching and lifting of objects within Raytheon EHSS guidelines.

+ Must be able to read, interpret and analyze engineering drawings, production planning and other technical documents.

We are seeking an Conveyor Mechanic who will troubleshoot, fix, and maintain our state-of-the-art equipment at our distribution center located in Lumberton, NJ.

This is a great opportunity for an energetic self-starter who wants to work in a face-paced environment with some of the most innovative technology in the industry.

The focus of the Conveyor Mechanic role is to work in a hands-on manner, troubleshooting and repair of conveyor equipment, electrical troubleshooting, up to basic troubleshooting of PLCs.

The Conveyor Mechanic will repair and PM existing and new conveyor systems, respond to all trouble calls and be highly motivated.
EXPERIENCE

- 4+ years of experience in maintenance/mechanical field

- Able to work at 25 ft heights, operating a scissor lift and/or articulate boom lift

- Possess a valid driver's license

- Must be able to lift frequently 20-45 lbs., occasionally 45-75 lbs

- Ability to maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components- photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, VFD's, linear drives, and encoders

- Have a strong background in PLC programs, ability to troubleshoot ladder logic (used for troubleshooting), components (Controllers, I/O boards, counters, modules, and devices) and communications modules (Ethernet)

- Preferred experienced in industrial and electrical mechanic environment including warehouse

- Ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision

- Ability to maintain strict level of confidentiality

- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

- Must be willing to get certified on all equipment needed to complete job task

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule or overtime as required

- Ability to work safely in and around operating mechanical systems

- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret technical reference manuals, schematics, electrical control diagrams and blueprints
