Objectives
Individual is responsible for determining the financial eligibility of applicants for public assistance programs. Individual refers recipients to needed services within the community. Individual maintains ongoing eligibility for assistance. Individual reports to Assistant Director/designee.
Job Standards
Associates degree in Human, Social Services, Education or Sociology desired. Two (2) years related paid work experience including experience in budgeting, public relations, office practices and procedures and interviewing may be considered in lieu of degree. Individual is required to take classes mandated by the State. Must possess a valid Ohio Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Must meet and maintain qualifications for driving on county business as a continued condition of employment. All required licenses and certificates must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
Essential Functions
* Determines eligibility for public assistance programs using available resources based upon information provided by applicants;
* Re-determines eligibility for Public Assistance at specified intervals plus as frequently as reports of changes are received from clients and/or other sources;
* Secures (from client and/or other sources) and evaluates required documentation of specified information necessary to the determination of eligibility;
* Compares income/household information from other sources (data matches) with information in case record. Checks to ensure all required information is correct. Ensures all information has been processed in accordance with State, Federal and County policy. Summarizes reviews in case record;
* Consults and works in conjunction with eligibility workers and Employment Counselors;
* Supports Income Maintenance and other programs by working with local agencies to include writing and monitoring contracts, attending meetings, conferences, workshops, training sessions, and performing a variety of public relations duties;
* Devises correspondence completes forms and develops reports associated with the public assistance operation;
* Performs inquiry using computer system for intake, re-applications, changes and other similar administrative requirements;
* Provides case management functions for clients including making referrals for community services and resources, particularly when client is faced with crisis or emergency;
* Responds to telephone calls regarding the screening for eligibility, receiving reports or changes from client, receiving information from another agency or private business, making referrals, and making calls to clients, providers, other agencies and the private sector;
* Meets with clients for intake and re-application, to report changes, ask for medical coverage verification, report of loss benefits or non-receipt of benefits, or replace benefits;
* Takes PRC applications and issues or denies benefits;
* Handles client complaints and public inquiries regarding programs; Accesses computer system for intake, re-applications, changes and other similar administrative requirements;
* Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance;
* Hold as confidential, all aspects of the job;
* Attends various training sessions, video conferences, and workshops; Performs typing, word processing, and related computer operations;
* Works overtime and outside of typical work schedule/business hours as required; and
* Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
Clean and maintain the pool area and exercise room
Keep grounds clear of visible trash and cleans the parking lot, sidewalks, breezeways, stairs, and entrance thoroughly, including weed removal
Report any problems that would interfere with guest satisfaction
Keep the storage area clean every day and lock all storage areas before clocking out
Ensure that there are enough housekeeping supplies on each floor and there are enough linens & supplies in stock
Verify that all exterior lights are working properly
Report and fix any safety hazards throughout the hotel
Ensure that the stockroom has sufficient inventory to last at least two weeks
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED required
Hospitality experience preferred
Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience preferred
An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently

Responsibilities
● This position is shift work and will require overtime
● Performs preventive maintenance tasks; inspections, services, adjustments and identifies and addresses manufacturer or industry standard maintenance functions and/or defects such as machine lubrication, filter replacement, wear part replacement and other related preventative maintenance functions
● Performs general equipment repair and maintenance such as inspecting, repairing and or replacing VFDs, motors, gear boxes, belts, conveyors, bearings, screens, screen shafts and other critical equipment components and general wear parts
● Continually monitors equipment and makes necessary adjustment(s) to ensure proper operation
● Dismantles machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, lifts, hand tools, and any necessary power tools
● Ensures processing equipment is continuously compliant with manufacturer, industry and regulatory safely standards, policies, and are operating safely within facility standard operating procedures
● Maintains preventative maintenance schedules, logs, checklists and reports. Plans, schedules, conducts documents daily, monthly and annual facility preventative maintenance activities. Compiles and submits accurate repair and/or preventative maintenance reports for management
● Coordinates repairs with manufacturer or contractors as requested/require
● Coordinates, organizes and responsible for MRF equipment maintenance parts, inventory and tools. Cleans and organizes workshop and storage areas
● Cleans accumulated contaminants from screening/sorting/baling machinery. Cleans processing equipment and/or rolling stock as recommended/required. Uses high velocity air, vacuum or cleaners/detergents to remove dust, grime or other contaminants from equipment and structures
● Pumps liquid from pits and removes accumulated debris
● Operate a variety of hand and power tools; wrenches, ratchets, hammers, chisels, pry-bars, grinders, saws, drills, air impact wrench etc.
● Operate vehicles and motorized equipment; forklift, aerial lift, industrial vacuum, wheel tractors, light trucks, heavy duty trucks.
● Removes collected piles of debris from the facility both manually and with equipment.
● Perform duties of Processor II as assigned
● Other duties as defined
Qualifications
● Must be able to use hand and power tools
● Ability to work in a team environment and perform/coordinate in plant preventative maintenance and/or repairs
● Ensures that proper safety policies are followed including lock out tag out, PPE, safety notices/paint, barriers, etc.
● Must possess the decision-making ability to determine the level of hazard, proper PPE and job planning to safely perform the task
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to interact appropriately with others.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, required College/Technical/Vocational training preferred Experience or demonstrated working knowledge in preventative maintenance, general maintenance or mechanical trades is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
● Must be able to regularly work near or around high-powered magnets which prohibits persons with pacemakers to be near or around them.
● Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted at times Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, squat for extended periods of time
● Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing and working in awkward positions and tight areas).
