* Supervises Mechanics in overall maintenance operation, including performing preventive maintenance, repair, modifications and other maintenance of aircraft, components and related equipment in compliance with 14 CFR, manufactures specifications, the GMM, Company policy and procedures as well as other methods accepted by the FAA and OSHA.
* Performs duties in all areas inside and outside the hangar as well as at the airport terminal.
* Plans and priorities work, which includes prioritizing, directing, laying out and coordinating activities so as to minimize delays, increase production and efficiency, and to assure timely delivery of aircraft.
* Determines job standards, tests personnel productivity, safety habits and workmanship.
* Understands, communicates and enforces company policies and procedures. Recommends changes to GMM to eliminate conflicts and/or enhance operational effectiveness.
* Reviews and approves material requests. Ensures adherence to material handling and control procedures as outlined in the GMM and by the equipment manufacturers. Coordinates with Materials team to ensure required materials arrive as needed.
* Oversees the completion of shift turnover reports in accordance with the GMM.
* Conducts shift meetings, briefings and participates in management meetings, including shift turnover. Adheres to established work schedule.
* Ensures the maintenance area is maintained in a clean and orderly condition.
* Provides timely and accurate information on aircraft status. Communicates accurately to Maintenance Control the status of aircraft serviceability and readiness.
* Trains and assists mechanics in proper procedures, methods and practices to be followed in each respective duty. Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of the OJT program.
* Guides the mechanics in the handling and operation of shop equipment, ground equipment, vehicles, fuel dispensing equipment and tools to assure equipment is used safely and kept in serviceable condition.
* Ensures all departmental internal company forms, maintenance records documents, work orders, manual revision compliance, etc. is completed accurately. Monitors and updates timekeeping and payroll entry on a timely basis.
* Recommends changes to processes to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
* Provides technical leadership to team and department members. Leads through example; Monitors, influences and trains others. Provides input to supervisor on performance reviews and helps to identify development needs. Provides performance feedback, counseling and takes corrective action as necessary. May conduct performance review for assigned mechanics.
* Performs other duties as assigned or required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
* High school diploma or equivalent with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
* Two years A&P experience on similar aircraft.

* RII qualification of applicable aircraft

Basic qualifications

The Area Superintendent (AS) is responsible for supervision of a specific area of the project. Essential Duties:
Coordinate, supervise and mentor the company work force in their area.
Coordinate field construction work through organization and proper planning, and by having a collaborative relationship with trade partners. Participate in weekly schedule and management meetings with trade partners.
Promote and enforce the site-specific safety plan and sound safety principles within their area of work. Create AHAs/STAs with foremen for all self-performed work. Review AHAs for trade partners.
Participate in project scheduling and maintain the portion of the four-week schedule for their area to ensure the project is completed on time.
Keep accurate cost and production records.
Participate in the development of material handling and site utilization plans for their specific area. Coordinate with project engineers and office engineers on material needs, RFIs, etc. Ensure that material received is properly inspected for quantity and quality, and that the receiving tickets are properly signed and coded and given to the jobsite administrator.
Take responsibility for all quality control on the project and establish high-level standards both for the company and trade partners.
Coordinate the punch list process to ensure owner acceptance at project turnover.
Develop and maintain relationships with the owner, architect, engineer and trade partners to ensure the highest level of quality and customer service is delivered.
Participate in the project coordination meetings to maintain pre-planning engagement and scheduling in the coordination activities. Assist the BIM and VDC engineers in driving issue resolution to keep the submittal process on schedule.

About the Role
This role is located onsite at the Cernovus Refinery in Lima, OH. The ideal candidate will commence employment on July 21st 2025. The Pipe Superintendent will identify and lead factors essential in the safe preparation and execution of work in the field. He/ She focuses on safety, quality, schedule, and cost. As a Piping Superintendent at Graham, you will:
* Perform work based on assigned scope on complexity of Maintenance & Turnarounds providing supervision and mentorship to less experienced execution team members, contributing to the job-site goals and objectives
* Participate in the development and optimization of the Maintenance/Turnaround Schedule, lead the execution against the approved schedule
* Develop and execute against the Maintenance/Turnaround Execution Manual
* Involved at various stages into planning, scheduling, and execution activities through input into integrations with Operations, the Unit, and contractors as part of the scope development, planning packages, and detailed shutdown and start-up plans and schedules
* Develop a contracting strategy with Maintenance/Turnaround
* Manage and lead the execution of the approved strategy
* Lead execution work of a team that will fluctuate in size (between 10 and 1000+ personnel throughout the Maintenance & Turnaround execution)
* Lead contractors with contract values up to $50M supporting the turnaround events

Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial piping installation, with 3+ years in Petro Chemical environments
* General Working Knowledge of ASME Pipe Code & Pressure Vessels
* Strong field execution experience managing 50 - 1,000 craft per shift during an event
* Experience in Commissioning, Start-up, and Shut-down activities
* Strong Leadership capabilities must have the ability to influence functional groups and external contractors
* Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization including delegation of work
* MS Office suite, Primavera, and SAP
* Strong Labor Relations experience/ Union experience is a plus
* Experience with budget cycles is a plus
