Leads the effort in the pre-closing and closing process on complex real estate loans, including construction, term, lines of credit, and letters of credit, some of which may be syndicated. What you will be doing:
Oversee the Physical Security ticketing system to ensure timely corrective action for cameras, alarm, fire, and access control issues that arise within Mechanics Bank facilities. Oversee the creation and disbursement of all access control ID badges for designated regions for new and existing employees across the organization. Assist in the Incident Management process as Incidents arise and solutions are needed.
Participate and review project plans set forth by the Project Management Office (PMO), or directly with business units as appropriate to ensure compliance on physical security initiatives. Collaborates with internal/external security vendors for any security dependencies.
Administers annual branch threat and vulnerability assessments to identify property mitigation tactics. Monitors and advises on risk mitigation strategies as deemed appropriate by the Director of Physical Security. Identifies and communicates acceptable levels of residual risk to the appropriate business units. Ensure business units are taking effective and timely remediation measures based on findings during assessment period.
Establishes and maintains satisfactory liaison relationships with law enforcement entities and other relevant safety and security agencies (e.g. FBI, Secret Service, DHS, local law enforcement, etc.). Maintains records for each location regarding available resources and emergency service agencies. Works with law enforcement and legal representatives in investigations of possible security violations and criminal activity.
Monitors and ensures all Physical Security systems and platforms are up to date with recent firmware and/or upgrades needed for optimal system use and uptime through coordinated vendor support. Responds to inquiries regarding security policies and procedures.
Act as Banks after hour emergency support contact for potential criminal activity and/or safety concerns on an as needed basis.
Acts as the subject matter expert with regard to security systems operations.
Who you are:
Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, Information Technology or related area is preferred.
High School or GED is required.
3 years of related experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, bank operations, and/or security and compliance experience is required depending upon area of assignment, preferably in a financial services environment; OR equivalent combination of education and experience may be reviewed.
Preferred: APP or PSP security certification
Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Power Point, CAD applications and Internet.
Proficient in Genetec, DMP, and Solink camera and access control systems (preferred).
Works independently with little supervision while providing clear documented status and progress of work activities and business issues impacting the department.
Requires excellent human relations and communication skills to be able to assist Managers and Supervisors with discrete security issues.
Must have the ability to make administrative decisions and excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to cope with pressure resulting from meeting required deadlines and reporting requirements.

What you will do:
* Portfolio Management:
* Own full management of assigned SBA loans portfolio.
* Correspond with/contact Borrowers directly on a regular basis to discuss all issues.
* Analyze and complete spreads from financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow analysis for existing SBA loans.
* Ensure adherence to SBA SOPs, internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
* Credit Risk Management:
* Perform in annual loan reviews to determine the appropriate risk rating of the portfolio.
* Monitoring credit risk based on financial statement analysis and covenant compliance.
* Prepare detailed credit memoranda with risk rating assessments and recommendations. Monitor borrower performance, payment delinquencies, and help identify potential credit risks.
* Prepare and mail out letters requesting financials, notifying loan defaults (NODs), etc. for credit risk management.
* Support portfolio management and reporting activities:
* Review tickler reports and follow up with borrowers to obtain outstanding financial conditions.
* Request for waivers with supporting documentations for financial conditions and/or covenant violations. Assist with watch and problem loan reports to develop problem loan credit solutions.
* Review and analyze any third-party exhibits such as appraisals, environmental questionnaires/Phase I & II reports, legal documents such as business organization documents, UCC lien searches, title reports, credit reports, etc.
* When appropriate, assist in the liquidation process ensuring that the government guarantee is protected and collaborate with and provide support to the Bank's assigned special assets team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build a thorough customer profile and identify current and future financial needs.
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions using our value proposition.
* Utilize CAMP and other approved Marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
* Primarily focused on cross-selling to existing customer base and engaging in outside sales activities (i.e. Membership Advantage onsite presentations, business sales calls, community financial literacy events, etc.) as directed.
* Establish close working relationships with assigned Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment), referring customers when appropriate to provide timely, and holistic financial solutions.
* Consistently meet/exceed customer experience and individual/team production goals and enhance year-over-year revenue growth as measured by the Financial Center P&L.
* Provide guidance to CSRs with respect to the sales and referral process.
* Promote customer satisfaction with a friendly, helpful demeanor and professionalism.
* Act with confidence by answering customer questions and owning customer issues.
* Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all business confidential.
* Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, maintaining ethical behavior at all times.
* Adhere to established policies and procedures while opening/servicing the full range of Retail products.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
* College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or, combination of education and experience.
* Experience in the financial industry preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities designed to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to established customers.
* Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions that will allow for analysis of credit and financial information.
* Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in terms of appearance and verbal/written communication.
* Demonstrated ability to develop a working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures in order to utilize good judgment in making sound decisions.
