Pros of working at MedCerts

Work from home is amazing and appreciated. They have been able to create a wonderful work from home experience. They encourage flexibility.

Cons of working at MedCerts

The pay is far below the industry standard. The company overall got a 2% raise. It was abysmal after such high inflation. They are literally giving everyone a pay cut. There is little in the way of advancement because of only a handful of leaders left in the company. The ones that are left are not capable or experienced enough in human emotions to be in charge. Don't think about disagreeing with them either or you will be pushed out, ignored, and bullied until you quit. This place would be much better with skilled, caring leaders, not people that are only in it for themselves (and it shows daily). The bonus structures, which should be illegal for an education company, is an unmitigated disaster. Don't think you are guaranteed anything extra from this company. They will cheat and steal it away from you so fast - even if you have proof. And, let me tell you, you will be the one proving your case, because leadership will do all it can to take this money from you. It's a scam.

What do you like best about MedCerts's CEO and the leadership team?

I liked the last CEO who was in it for the students. The new CEO is the former CFO so only cares about money. They changed the All Hands Meetings from congratulating based on number of students to congratulating based on the amount of money the person brought in. It is disgusting and shows just how little they care about students.

How would you improve MedCerts's culture?

I would get rid of all upper management and replace them. After they gave themselves raises and title changes, while the rest of us got nothing, they need a reality check.

How did you prepare for the MedCerts interview?

I studied the website.

How does your compensation at MedCerts compare to the industry average?

It does not compare. The amount of money I make now after 4 years at the company is less than what I made 10 years ago in the same position. It is a joke. They are not getting the best.

What's the diversity at MedCerts like?

I would say there is a lot of diversity, but it is only those people that swear fealty to the queen that get ahead.

What brings you the most joy at MedCerts?

The others that I work with (not leadership). The people that actually do the work and not take all the money.
