Position Summary

Duties and Responsibilities:

Typical assignments include:

· Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
· Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.

About the Position
We have an exciting career opportunity for an Intensive Supportive Housing Therapist who possesses a combination of skills and QMHP eligibility to provide clinical services for our Southern Oregon supportive housing programs in Medford, Oregon. The Intensive Supportive Housing Therapist position requires the ability to conduct mental status examinations and DSM-5 diagnoses. They will conduct comprehensive psychosocial mental health assessments and complete assessment reviews and updates every six months or as clinically indicated. The Intensive Supportive Housing Therapist will perform certain mental health functions, such as consultation, crisis management, and individual and group therapy, or delegate these functions to appropriately qualified clinical staff. Swing Lane Supportive Housing is an exciting, newly constructed housing program in Medford, Oregon that provides permanent, intensive Supportive Housing, as well as transitional Room & Board units for adults who have a serious mental illness.
Rogue Ridge Apartments is a brand-new, 28-unit, permanent Supportive Housing program in Ashland, Oregon. Rogue Ridge serves adults who are houseless and living with a mental illness. The program is in a beautiful three-story apartment complex with elevators, ADA units, and a community/activity room for residents to enjoy. Supportive services include on-site staff who provide peer support, skills training, tenancy assistance, community navigation, and more; 24/7 access to housing support; and tenancy services and support around move in and out, rent collection, maintenance, and repairs.

This position is a full-time (1.0 FTE), twelve-month unclassified administrative position in the Oregon Center for the Arts (OCA) and the College of Arts & Humanities at Southern Oregon University. Act as primary liaison for OCA Arts Partners, negotiating and administering partnership agreements and external rental contracts.

Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house safety, equipment upkeep, and compliance with university and industry standards.
(10%) Tutunov Piano Series Administration
Oversee all aspects of the Tutunov Piano Series (TPS) in consultation with the faculty director and Music Department chair, including scheduling, artist coordination, contracts, payments, travel, accommodations, and onsite support.
Manage artist relations from initial communications to contract execution, rider fulfillment, and VIP ticket reservations, ensuring a professional and seamless guest experience.
Collaborate with OCA Marketing & Recruitment Specialist on marketing, publicity, and community outreach; coordinate postcard mailings, rack card distribution, and patron communications.
Administer patron services for TPS, including ticket sales, subscription seating, livestream access, donor recognition, and accurate database management.
Develop and monitor the series budget; support sponsorships and donor engagement; collaborate with and prepare reports for the SOU Foundation on ticket sales, income, and donor activity.
(10%) Administrative & Financial Oversight
Prepare and monitor production, facility, and program budgets; ensure compliance with university fiscal policies and prudent stewardship of resources.
Oversee contracting for guest artists, external users, and performance rentals, ensuring consistency and fiscal responsibility.
Collaborate with the Dean/Executive Director and OCA leadership team on strategic planning and long-range artistic initiatives.

(40%) Administer and Supervise Academic Competitions:
Work with schools to solicit competing teams.
Establish rules and select judges.
Identify and assist individual event coordinators, solicit and coordinate additional volunteers.
Schedule dates and timelines with coordinators, schools and coaches, secure rooms, order catering, arrange parking codes, organize supplies, create brochures and notifications to coaches, oversee competitions, procure and create award certificates, plaques, and trophies for finalists.
Connect the event to SOU academic departments and Admissions.
Assure enrollment, evaluation and success of programs.
Work with Youth Programs Associate Director to identify a competitions cohort, and matriculation rate into additional Youth Programs.
(30%) Coordinate and Implement SOU Academic Department Partnership Programming:
Coordinate between SOU campus partners and Youth Program staff to provide support for program needs.
Coordinate with outside data vendor (Ideal Logic) for creation of student application and registration content. Submit and track wage agreement requests and professional services contracts, making adjustments to account for changes in the agreement (such as cancelled classes). Coordinate with Service Center to ensure receipt of payroll paperwork.
Identify necessary on and off campus class spaces. Coordinate access with building managers, SOU facilities management, and EMS scheduler, and academic departments. Negotiate and file rental agreements and coordinate access for off-campus class locations.
Procure course supplies.
Administer course evaluations including: student evaluations, instructor evaluations, family and community surveys. Report and use data collected to identify needs and shape future offerings.
Act as primary site supervisor for instructors while classes are in session.
(20%) Provide Instructional Coordination for Residential Camps:
Develop and implement academic enrichment offerings for all residential programs.
Coordinate with camp director/partner organizations to develop course offerings.
Recruit instructors who support camp instructional goals; Process submitted course proposals. Develop and administer training to ensure instructors are familiar with SOU Youth Programs procedures.
Submit and track wage agreement requests and professional services contracts, making adjustments to account for changes in the agreement (such as cancelled classes). Coordinate with Service Center to ensure receipt of payroll paperwork.
Develop course descriptions; generate classroom and computer lab requests, coordinate necessary: software and login requests, parking codes, HVAC requests, and key/fob access.
Procure course supplies.
Communicate with residential camp staff and directors, SOU academic departments, building managers. Help troubleshoot during camp programs.
Identify and supervise volunteers and staff for various residential programs as needed.
(10%) Program Recruitment and Marketing:
Using knowledge and prior experience with secondary education, collaborate with audience development team to create marketing materials for all of the above programs including pamphlets, posters, newsletters, brochures, flyers, web pages, social media posts, newspaper articles, email ads, and give-away items with SOU logo.
Together with the Associate Director of Outreach and Engagement, promote a pathway from non-credit programs for younger students to pre-college credit programs.

This position is supported by non-recurring funds designated for specific studies, projects, or programmatic initiatives.
