The Opportunity The Master Scheduler serves as the primary point of contact and liaison with sales, manufacturing, purchasing and logistics to ensure the seamless flow of production and delivery to our customers. This role will influence daily production planning, capacity planning, ensure timely and efficient production of customer orders, and will ensure proper inventory levels are met. The selected candidate will review the order backlog on a weekly basis and develop a master production schedule, communicate the schedule with production and ensure daily schedules are met. Participation in the daily production meeting provides insight regarding issues that invariably arise. This role is also responsible for coordinating transportation and logistics, including setting delivery schedules, coordinating product delivery with our dealers and managing transportation partner scheduling. This role requires strong communication skills internally and externally, and the ability to occasionally deliver “bad news” to dealers regarding schedule changes in a timely, professional and courteous manner. This position is an on site role and is not eligible for remote work. The Candidate A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field is preferred but not required, and 10 years plus of experience in an environment where lean manufacturing principles have been used is a plus. Experience working with a highly customized product line will give the successful candidate the best chance for success in this role. Advanced knowledge of Excel or similar analytical tools is important. REPORTS TO: Regional Manager/Site Supervisor FLSA STATUS: Full Time, Non-Exempt ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TEACHER ASSISTANT: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must supervise and monitor children at all times by following Active Supervision procedures, policies, and strategies to ensure no child is ever left unsupervised. Follow direction and support from the teacher regarding classroom expectations and adult-child interactions. Assist the teacher to ensure the quality and safety of the educational environment. Participate in the developmental screening process when appropriate. Work with and encourage parent and community volunteers. Assist teacher in assessment by recording specific examples of developmental progress for individual children. Use positive child guidance techniques and build nurturing relationships through caregiving routines Use developmentally appropriate practices to facilitate activities with groups and individuals. Follow a consistent schedule which includes small and large group experiences, choice time, music and movement, large and small motor activities, skill development and effective transitions between activities. Encourage experimentation, exploration, problem solving, cooperation, socialization, and choice making; ask open-ended questions and listen respectfully to the answers. Promote family literacy. Be a positive role model to children and volunteers at all times. Responsible for supporting the program in collecting in-kind to meet federal requirements. Prepare materials for classroom activities. Attend staff meetings and trainings. Promote and support parent involvement and leadership throughout the program. Responsible for active supervision of all children during Head Start/EHS/CCP activities. Participate in general cleaning of center. Maintain classroom and outdoor space so they are neat, clean and ready for daily activities. Sanitize classroom equipment and toys, following work plans procedures. Must support center during major transitions to ensure child safety and supervision. Must follow break schedule created by supervisor. To the extent possible, employees will not provide direct services to their family members. However, when this is not possible, to minimize potential conflicts of interest, employees should avoid providing direct services to their family members. If an employee is responsible for the care and guidance of closely related children, they should make every effort to transfer these responsibilities to another caregiver within the classroom. This approach helps maintain professional boundaries and ensures impartiality in service delivery. RECORD KEEPING, PLANNING, AND DOCUMENTATION OF THE TEACHER ASSISTANT: Assist teacher in maintaining appropriate documentation of each child's developmental level and progress. Keep and submit records and reports as required. Participate in educational planning for children. Participate in center monitoring for safety and compliance. Participate in child/family staffing when applicable. ADDITIONAL DUTIES WHEN ASSIGNED TO SUPPORT THE DRIVING STAFF OF THE TEACHER ASSISTANT Monitor safety on the bus. Assist children boarding/leaving the bus. Ensures children are secured in child restraints and all adult passengers use appropriate seat belts. Visually observe the health of each child on the bus. Report any concerns to the teacher and parent/guardian. Occupy the children during the ride with developmentally appropriate songs, games, observations, etc. Collaborate with the driver to ensure that each child is delivered to the care of a responsible adult (authorized list on Transportation Permission Fact Sheet) upon leaving the bus. Ensure that no child is ever left unattended while on the bus, following all Active Supervision, child attendance, and bus alarm deactivation procedures as written in the Transportation workplan to prevent a child being left behind. ADDITIONAL DUTIES WHEN ASSIGNED TO SUPPORT THE KITCHEN STAFFOF THE TEACHER ASSISTANT Preparation and delivery of meals/snacks that meet USDA Food Program requirements fo pre-school and or infant/toddler children and all Head Start program requirements and policies. Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule. Use food production and food storage procedures that meet USDA and CACFP requirements. Follow standards of sanitation according to State and Head Start regulations and policies. Safely operate basic food service equipment provided by Head Start. Engineering Interns will work directly with a team of experienced engineers to assist in product design and testing of products. Sierra Pacific is seeking motivated individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in mechanical engineering, machine design, and/or manufacturing process improvement. Salary: * Year 1 Lifeguard: $19.83/hr. * Year 2 Lifeguard: $20.22/hr. * Year 3 Lifeguard: $20.62/hr. * Year 4 Lifeguard: $21.03/hr. * Supervise and protect public through preventative life guarding practice. * Rescue and provide emergency care to an accident victim. * Enforce beach rules and regulations. * Maintain beach, beach house, equipment and adjacent areas in a safe, clean and sanitary condition, including raking beach daily. * Present a positive public image while on duty. * Work cooperatively with co-workers, leads and supervisors. * Attend required in-service training sessions, * Other duties as assigned. Supervision Received: Receives supervision from Recreation Program Manager, Park Manager, and Lead Lifeguard. * Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older. * Must possess a current Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR-AED and First-Aid Certification and Waterfront Skills certification. * Proficient in swimming and safety skills. * Must be observant, safety conscious and able to react calmly and quickly to an emergency. * Available daily, 10:00am-6:30pm, including weekends & holidays. * Prompt and regular attendance. Physical and Mental Requirements * Must be mentally alert to dangerous situations in order to assure the safety of all swimmers. * Physically and mentally able to respond to emergencies and administer CPR, Oxygen & First Aid effectively. * Physical mobility to properly use aquatic equipment to rescue a 200 lb. person. * Must be able to physically stand and sit for an extended period of time. * Physically able to see, hear, and communicate clearly and be able to hear noises and distress signals in aquatic environment. * Able to read, write and perform basic math to complete daily chemical logs. * Swim with proficiency and endurance for possible rescues. * Must be able to communicate clearly with members and staff. Environmental Considerations * Worker is exposed to chemicals (i.e., chlorine and cleaning materials). * Worker is exposed to outside weather conditions 100% of the time, including extreme heat and humidity, cold and rain. * Staff is encouraged to wear sunscreen, sunglasses, shirt and a hat, drink plenty of fluids. Safety and Facility Requirements * Assure a safe and hazard free environment by inspecting and taking the necessary action to correct and safeguard against potential problems and/or accidents. * Must comply with all safety policies and procedures now in effect or adopted in the future. * Worker must be able to follow directions with safe follow through and exercises good judgment and safety awareness. * Worker will use all required PPE. * All unsafe conditions are to be reported to your supervisor immediately.
