Responsible for scanning and sorting of books/media for distribution to appropriate sale area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Exemplifies Goodwill Southeast Georgia’s mission, vision, and values within all aspects of assigned work.
* Evaluates all incoming book/media donations to determine venue for resale.
* Ensures that only acceptable items are sent to e-commerce.
* Categorizes product for resale in retail store.
* Packages, labels, and secures totes of resaleable product for e-commerce.
* Ability to utilize scanning software to identify product value.
* Meet or exceed daily productivity goals through the efficient handling of product, processing items quickly and accurately.
* Operate equipment in the listing, moving, and shipping of product.
* Keep work area stocked and cleaned with only necessary equipment and supplies.
* Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
* Must demonstrate knowledge and willingness to adhere to all Goodwill Southeast Georgia policies and procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS

* The employee is frequently required to move racks, bins and stock, and must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
