Responsibilities
Create, plan and implement a comprehensive social media content plan to enhance the club's brand presence, engagement, and storytelling across platforms.
Collaborate with creative services team to develop, curate, and manage engaging content daily across all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn.
Identify compelling and creative storylines to pitch and assist in bringing them to life.
Support the development of departmental publications (e.g., press releases, media advisories, game notes, media guide, strategy and messaging, etc.).
Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within industry, local market and corporate/non-sports media.
Actively engage with fans and manage the club's online community.
Maintain and update all media archives, including local and national media clips, quotes repository, and press materials.
Work Menace home matches in May - August. This includes full-day dedication to game day set up, servicing fans, and post-game tear down. In game responsibilities include real time social media coverage and keeping game stats for league reporting.
Cover club activities including but not limited to matches, training sessions, press conferences, player appearances, and events. As available, assist with pre-season events such as Open Cup and youth programs. Assist with other in-season events such as summer camps, player appearances, and community events.
Maintain confidentiality for sensitive club information.
Other projects and duties as directed by Menace Soccer Operations Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or working towards a degree, in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related field is preferred.
Working knowledge of major social media platforms, best practices, and analytics tools.
Ability to be detail oriented, problem solve, and communicate with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time with tight deadlines.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Passion for engaging audiences, working with others, storytelling, outside the box thinking and pushing the creative boundaries of sports video content.
Proven team player who is willing to work flexible hours including long days, nights, and weekends.
A passion for sports and knowledge of the game of soccer is preferred.

Job Summary:
Drake University is seeking a dynamic and accomplished international education administrator to serve as the Global Affairs Specialist - Asia Programs at Drake University. This role will provide administrative management and functional support for the institution's degree programs embedded within Asia. This position offers a unique opportunity to directly contribute to Drake University's growth in the space of transnational education, creating access for students around the world to acquire a Drake degree. The GA Specialist will be a team member within the Division of Global Affairs and will report to the Chief Global Affairs Officer and Dean of Global Programs. The Division of Global Affairs reports to the Office of the President.
In 2024, Drake established the QU-Drake United College in collaboration with Qingdao University in Qingdao, China. This project offers dual-degree programs in China where undergraduate students earn both a Qingdao and a Drake degree through a jointly developed curriculum.
The GA Specialist will play a key role in managing day-to-day administration of the project. In addition, the Specialist will be the primary point of contact for partners in Asia and provide key project management support to ensure intended outcomes are met. The GA Specialist will work closely with Drake University leadership and the leadership of the QU-Drake United College in China to ensure a smooth-running collaboration that results in a cohesive, high-quality program.
Drake is actively exploring additional curricular projects in Asia. The GA Specialist for Asia Programs will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development of these programs and will ultimately provide day-to-day management for these projects in addition to QU-Drake United College in China.
Minimum Qualifications:

What you'll do: As an Intern in our Marketing team, you will work on a variety of tasks, learning new things and gaining experience that you can use both in the classroom and in your career. Primary tasks include the following:
Work with the Marketing & Brokerage teams to execute marketing strategies and objectives.
Assist with creating engaging and creative content for all platforms (social media, company website, etc.)
Provide various market activity reports to the team including deal updates, park updates and other reports as needed.
Assist with plans to build, manage, and optimize communications with existing clients, as well as curating strategies to assist in gaining new clients and increasing our market presence.
Perform market analysis and research on current market conditions and other client information as needed.
Drive to R&R properties and various locations as required.
What it takes to join our team:
Must be enrolled as a college student pursuing a marketing, communications, finance or related degree (Junior and senior student status preferred).
Ability to multi-task with a high attention to detail.

Overview
The Marketing Intern will assist in developing and implementing event marketing plans and promotions for various types of events. We are looking for individuals who want professional level experience and have the initiative, skills and drive to excel. This program will give individuals an opportunity to work alongside professionals in the live entertainment, sports, and venue management industry. The marketing intern will support the Iowa Events Center digital and grassroots footprint inclusive of social media, website, digital assets, email, and more. This role pays an hourly rate of $12.00
This position will remain open until December 31, 2025.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing event marketing plans and promotions for various types of events.
Assist the Digital Marketing Coordinator in social media management and content creation for the Iowa Events Center and Casey's Center Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Execute marketing efforts for upcoming events, including creating promotional material and coordinating with partners.
Analyze marketing data to track campaign performance and identify areas of improvement.
Participate in weekly meetings to discuss artist and fan engagement during events.
Perform a variety of event day responsibilities within the marketing department.
Key Learnings:
Hands-on experience in the fast-paced live event and hospitality industry
Exposure to print and digital advertising
A greater understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and how each program is used in a professional work environment

Qualifications
