The Senior Media Planner is responsible for both digital and non-digital channels outside of Paid Search (PPC) and are the central point of contact for the internal and external clients/partners for assigned accounts. They are chiefly responsible for the development of the media schedule and reporting changes to the account team as well as fielding requests and consulting. They are responsible for the tactical oversight of the plan and, along with the Media Supervisor, developing and adjusting the strategy for the plan. Planners may manage Media Assistant's work to coordinate with production, billing departments as well as supplier partners to implement the schedule.

The primary difference between a Media Planner and Sr. Media Planner is experience, a higher level of independent function, and consistent handling of both digital and non-digital elements with equal ability.

Reporting to the VP, Director of Media Operations, Plowshare's Media Planner will be responsible for management of Direct Media Campaigns. This individual will work closely with our integrated client teams and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management and optimization of Direct Media campaigns including direct oversight of YouTube initiatives and tactical multicultural initiatives. This role will maintain oversight of any direct vendor media including management of ad server accounts, trafficking, tagging, and creative related to these buys. Activate, update, and manage Direct Media Campaigns including any non-biddable digital media, integrated marketing programs, and custom programs

Act at primary buyer and liaison for all YouTube media buys directly with Google or through other 3rd party vendors

Work within Publicis Groupe to ensure best industry buying rates and negotiation of individual programs

Maintain oversight of PlowShare ad server accounts and traffic sheets

Identify opportunities or insights for ongoing optimization of budget pacing, creative, targeting and more to maximize program performance

Perform optimizations based on insights from Direct Media campaigns and other channel campaign data

Pull data from multiple systems to create client reports (i.e., PowerPoint and Excel) under guidance from VP, Director of Media Operations

Assist in compiling campaign spend estimates/forecasts

Contribute to account and client strategy development
