    We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist / Sourcing Lead to support new product development (NPD) and production sourcing activities for marine and boat manufacturing programs. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in supplier development, cost management, and manufacturing processes, along with hands-on experience in the marine or automotive manufacturing industry. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, quality, and supplier partners to ensure cost-effective, high-quality component sourcing. Key Responsibilities: • Lead sourcing activities for new product development (NPD) programs and production parts. • Define and execute sourcing strategies, identify potential suppliers, and manage RFQ/RFP processes. • Perform supplier quote analysis, cost benchmarking, and prepare negotiation dossiers for commodity teams. • Conduct cost calculations for target and reference pricing and support price negotiations with suppliers. • Provide technical support to suppliers for process mapping, machine selection, and manufacturing feasibility. • Support supplier onboarding, supplier assessment, and performance evaluation. • Manage component development activities in line with PPAP, CAPA, and structured problem-solving methodologies. • Review engineering drawings and specifications with strong knowledge of GD&T. • Define and validate manufacturing processes for parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies. • Work with a wide range of engineering commodities including sheet metal, machined parts, plastics, rubber, pumps, motors, lighting, wiring harnesses, and assemblies. • Utilize should-costing tools such as aPriori, Costimator, and TcPCM to drive cost transparency. • Ensure supplier compliance with IATF 16949 QMS and applicable industry standards, including ABYC requirements for marine applications. • Lead cross-functional initiatives and support team development while driving sourcing projects to completion. What you'll do * Assisting customers with the activation and setup of their product and services * Validation of the customer's entitlement for support (e.g. a client's customer, account is current, level of support service entitlement) * Logging all customer incidents upon receipt into the approved case management system; * Providing support to customers by: * Providing a timely and clear indication of the nature of the incident, * Communicating what steps will be taken to attempt to resolve the incident, * Setting the customer's expectation on what the estimated time to resolve the issue is, * Providing any potential short-term alternatives or workarounds to the customer, * Making reasonable efforts to ensure the customers understand the information they have been provided; * Resolving customer incidents wherever possible; and * Escalating customer incidents to Tier 2, where not able to be resolved by Tier 1 Requirements What you'll bring * 4-year technical degree or equivalent work experience * Excellent communication skills both Speaking Japanese and English languages * Proficient in reading and writing in Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana * N1/N2 JLPT linguistic competence level/ Native level * Experience in Azure * 1-3 years' experience in technical support or MIS in an Enterprise environment * Competencies before handling first interaction/call (verified by Vendor after New Hire Training) * Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 7 onwards) * Minimum working knowledge of Microsoft Windows NT Server and Windows 2008 Server R2 Benefits Our office is at BGC Taguig and we have hybrid work setup(Twice a week) and a flexible work schedule and we promote Work-Life balance, and an APAC focus means no graveyard shifts!
