What qualifications you will need:
Must have bachelors degree in medical technology or related science or bachelors degree and certification in sub-specialty area, or 'grand-fathered' as a Medical Technologist by CLIA88 is required
Medical Technologist ASCP, CLS (NCA), or as appropriate, BB(ASCP), C(ASCP), I(ASCP), H(ASCP), or M(ASCP) certification or equivalent is required.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives. Core to the ArchWell Health approach is to have a robust clinical care team focused on the needs of our members. Care teams are responsible for delivering excellent and compassionate primary care and coordinating the care of our members with the broader healthcare delivery system. The Home Visiting MedicalAssistant is a critical role to support the care provided to patients. MAs will work closely and collaboratively with the Home Visiting Advanced Care Practitioner and other members of the care teams to ensure members receive a strong standard of care if they are unable to come to an ArchWell Health center. This role will be expected to assist in assessing patient's health conditions, including performing routine diagnostic testing during appointments. The Home Visiting MedicalAssistant will be expected to travel around the designated regions to provide care in members' homes, and may be asked to report to centers across the market with short notice.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history; perform examinations and routine screenings, ensuring patients are informed and all questions and concerns are addressed for each procedure.
Render care within the homes of ArchWell Health members within service area, in conjunction with a primary care provider
Critically listen and engage with patients throughout appointment, ensuring needs and/or changing in patient conditions are reported to PCP, specialists, and/or other clinical personnel
Perform all tasks with a hyper focus on patient experience, including processing of patient phone messages, including returning calls; routing calls to other team members as appropriate; calling patients to obtain and relay pertinent information for the physician.
Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures and other first aid procedures; use CPR skills when necessary, all under physician supervision
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and conduct accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times.
Provide health coaching to a defined group of patients to support healthy lifestyle choices; follows up with coached patients via weekly calls.
Candidate should have the ability to report to homes of members within assigned region, and centers throughout the market with short notice. Organization will normally have schedule posted 1 week in advance, but there will be occasional needs to float candidate to other centers and adjust the schedule as needed. Any travel mileage in addition to travel to home center will be reimbursed at the standard rate.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to work effectively with various seniorities and diverse populations including staff, providers, members, family members, insurance carriers, vendors and market leadership.

Excellent critical reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to analyze situations, determine risks, and find solutions to prevent future issues and resolve recurring defects.
Experience with claims/quality reports and analytical software packages
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail and presentation software.
Ability to travel on occasion for company meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required.
Valid, active drivers license with reliable access to a personal vehicle on a daily basis
Ability and willingness to use personal vehicle to travel between member homes in assigned coverage throughout the workday, and to, at times, store equipment in the trunk of a personal vehicle
Ability and willingness to transport and lift necessary equipment to conduct at-home visits (anticipated maximum of 20 pounds)
Graduation from a nationally accredited MedicalAssistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e. foreign-trained physician, paramedic, etc.) required
A minimum of 3 years work experience as a MedicalAssistant
1 year of phlebotomy experience.
BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience
Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
