Assist in obtaining clinical specimens that were collected at hospitals and arrange shipment to locations as directed. Obtain and review documents and records which may include medical records, photographs, dental records, x-rays and other items of evidentiary nature for identification and/or investigative purposes. Follow-up on cases as guided by information developed through autopsy, interview, investigation and/or laboratory findings. Assist in investigations outside of the County, including consultation with funeral directors, law enforcement officers, county attorneys, and other persons having legitimate interest in cases under the jurisdiction of the Johnson County Medical Examiner and act as an investigative liaison for the Department. Clean and sanitize soiled and/or contaminated equipment, uniforms and motor vehicles. Restock supplies and equipment; maintain and fuel motor vehicles as required. The Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) Clinical Research Unit (CRU) is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support Phase I-IV clinical trials for both pediatric and adult participants. As part of a cutting-edge research program advancing groundbreaking therapies, this role contributes to studies that directly impact patient care locally and globally. Working under the direction of CRU nurses and providers, the MA II provides direct patient care within the medical assistant scope of practice (e.g., vital signs, ECGs, specimen collection) and offers related clerical support in an ambulatory clinic research setting. The MA II also ensures each visit is safe, organized, and efficient by preparing exam rooms, ensuring appropriate consents, and communicating with participants, families, and research teams. This position is 100% time and is performed fully on campus at UI Main Campus. General Terms of Internship Position - Merchandise/ Inventory Operations intern. Start - 3/28/26Dates Off - Minimum two-week notice required. (Emergencies Understood) Primary Duties:Tournament Prep - Active involvement in ordering and receiving new shipments.- Coordinating sizes with corresponding event types. (Youth vs. High School)- Managing inventories - Planning and executing distribution of merchandise and tickets to on-site sales staff. Summary The Director of Clinical Operations is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing the clinical operations of assigned geographies. This position is responsible for providing operational and patient care leadership while supporting the company's overall business strategy and supports the daily implementation for all clinical operations and quality patient care related functions and performance of the assigned geography. The Director of Clinical Operations is expected to foster positive and effective working relations with senior leadership and management, local market management, and business ancillary departments for the purpose of achieving the company's vision, mission and objectives. Qualifications Experience: * Current and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the relevant jurisdiction. * 2+ years demonstrated experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant providing primary care, geriatric, or senior living services. Skills and Abilities * In-depth knowledge of primary care and geriatric medicine, including the unique healthcare needs of older adults. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
