This role ensures residents receive individualized care while promoting dignity, safety, and independence.
Job Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Support residents with ambulation, transfers, and mobility aids as needed.
Observe and report changes in resident health, behavior, or physical condition to licensed staff.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident interactions.
Promote a clean, safe, and home-like environment by assisting with housekeeping and hygiene routines.
Encourage resident engagement in social and recreational activities.
Provide companionship, emotional support, and respectful communication with residents and families.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Active CNA certification in good standing with the state board.
Minimum 6 months of experience in an assisted living or long-term care setting preferred.
Basic understanding of elder care, safety, and resident rights.
