    The Medical Scribe is responsible for providing accurate, timely clerical and documentation support to Agile's healthcare providers. This role documents provider-patient interactions, completes required paperwork, prepares visit summaries and referral letters, and enters clinical data into the electronic medical record (EMR). The Medical Scribe ensures that providers can focus on patient care by managing essential administrative tasks and maintaining thorough, organized medical documentation. This position plays a key role in supporting efficient clinic operations and helping patients fully access and benefit from Agile's services. Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters, medical histories, physical exams, and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Work closely with the supervising physician to ensure timely and precise completion of medical documentation and records. Observe and learn about the medical decision-making process while supporting the care team in delivering high-quality patient care. Communicate professionally with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure clear and accurate information flow. Assist in ordering tests, entering prescriptions electronically, and managing documentation related to diagnostic or treatment plans. Ensure all patient information is handled in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards. Help streamline clinic operations by preparing charts, organizing patient information, and ensuring documentation is ready prior to each visit. Track and follow up on outstanding lab results, imaging reports, and other relevant documentation as directed by the physician. Maintain awareness of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical workflows to continuously improve documentation quality. Perform other related duties and administrative support tasks as assigned. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Computer skills required, including data entry skills and proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to ensure outstanding patient care Attention to detail and focus on accuracy Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems Previous experience as a medical scribe, medical assistant, or in a clinical support role preferred. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential preferred.
