???? About the Role
PanCare of Florida is seeking two adaptable and patient-focused Floating Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to support multiple clinic locations. Each position will have a designated home base-one in Chipley, FL and one in Youngstown, FL-with regular travel to nearby clinics as operational needs arise.
As a Floating CMA, you will provide essential clinical and administrative support to ensure continuity of care during staff absences, increased patient volume, or special clinic needs. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy variety in their workday, and are passionate about delivering consistent, high-quality patient care across communities.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses and medical providers
Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
Perform routine diagnostic tests and clinical procedures within scope of certification
Administer medications and injections as directed by the medical provider
Perform phlebotomy and collect blood, urine, and other specimens per standing orders
Assist providers during patient exams, treatments, and procedures
Observe, document, and report patient conditions and responses to treatment
Prepare patients for exams and educate them on testing and specimen collection
Maintain efficient patient flow across clinic locations
Prepare, restock, and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas
Monitor emergency equipment, oxygen tanks, medication storage, and clinical supplies
Assist with referrals, diagnostic coordination, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Support UDS, HEDIS, and Care Gap documentation and tracking
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and infection control standards
Collaborate with clinic leadership and staff to support efficient clinic operations
Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth clinic workflows
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong clinical skills including vitals, injections, phlebotomy, and wound care
Ability to perform basic lab procedures and assist with diagnostic testing (EKGs, X-rays)
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems, medical software, and clinical equipment
Excellent communication skills with patients, providers, and staff
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Professional, compassionate, and flexible approach to patient care
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing clinic needs
Education & Experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
Certification: Active Medical Assistant certification required(CMA or RMA)
Experience: Prior healthcare experience preferred but not required
Additional Requirements:
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between clinic locations
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 25-30lbs(medical equipment and supplies)

Responsibilities:
Our Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting Provider(s) in the care of patients to assure optimal delivery of medical care

Rotating Schedule:
