We are seeking a full-time (40 hrs/week) Medical Scribe to join our team. In this role, you will need to rotate between our Chandler office (3 days) and our Casa Grande office (2 days). You will learn and be responsible for documenting history, summaries of visits, clinical exam and assessments, operating electronic health records, and printing reports.
You will be trained on the basics of neuroscience including an exposure to neurological procedures, medications and their role in different pathology. Our training goes beyond basic documentation and includes an overview of different neurological diseases, their exam and radiologic findings.
Brain & Spine Center has a long and robust history of our Scribe Program. Over 20 scribes have graduated from our program to different medical, DO and PA schools. We have assisted them in publishing short cases and NeuroImages.
Responsibilities
Documenting patients visits by taking notes and entering them in the electronic health records system
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and comprehensive patient documentation
Coordinate with doctors to complete and submit medical records
Communicate professionally with patients, doctors, and healthcare staff
Complete administrative tasks as requested
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent
Previous experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar position
Ability to take detailed notes and accurate documentation
Strong computer and transcription skills
Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements
Highly organized with excellent time-management skills
