Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensures patient is provided with the names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.
Follows facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety (i.e. safe environment, equipment safety practices, radiation safety, fire prevention, etc.).
Adheres to fall precautions by performing/assisting patients with toileting/ADL care and never leaving the patient alone. If assistance is needed, CNA is able to ask/call or help while remaining with the patient.

Under the supervision of the Surgical Supervisor, this position assists with the peri-operative care in a technical support staff function. Nature and Scope: serves a patient population of Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.
This position works with and adapts to the different needs and requests of the management staff, circulating nurse, anesthesiologists, and surgeons.
This position assists the circulating nurse in the set-up and breakdown of equipment required before, during, and after each procedure, and reports any equipment malfunctions to the circulating nurse or Surgical Supervisor. This position sets up (but does not operate) the following equipment: anesthesia machine, monitoring equipment, bovie machine, suctions, craniotomy table, ortho tables, microscopes, tanks, and operating lights, and other related equipment.

Typical Responsibilities Include:
* Perform and provide minor first aid such as caring for minor cuts, abrasions, lacerations, and burns; recognizing and administering first aid for shock, and heat stroke.
* Conducts assessments and evaluations of injury or ailment. Advise management, Supervising Physician, private physician, or the employee about the circumstances of the injury. Furnish medical history as appropriate.
* Perform physical examinations to include but not limited to phlebotomy, audiometry, spirometry, vitals, blood pressure, pulse, o2 stats, EKG's, and others eligible for clinic services.
* Maintain employee health history documentation. Administer immunizations. Administer oxygen.

We're looking for an experienced Adult Primary Care PA or APRN to join our Medical Provider Team and make a difference in our community!
Our Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
under the supervision of the Medical Directors, is responsible for ensuring the efficient treatment of patients. HOPES has an integrated team model approach to patient care. Part of the Provider's responsibility will include participation in organization wide Patient Centered Medical Home activities to enhance patient care.
This PA or APRN will be licensed in the State of Nevada (or eligible) with a specialty in adult primary care as well as Board certified (or eligible). They will practice evidence-based and team based medical care. They will be an excellent, experienced primary care provider with a heart for our mission and our patients. Success in this role requires superb communication and will help patients connect with their primary team and other services. This role requires that you be an "agility" expert-that means agility plus!
