Requirements for Physician Assistants
Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado.
Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) issued by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required for hire and must be maintained throughout employment
Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice.
Eligible to provide services reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.

The pay range for this full-time position is $104,416 - $149,136 annually. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. A productivity incentive may be offered for this position.

Demonstrate competency according to clinic guidelines and policies in the following areas; aseptic and sterile technique, wound and incision dressings, staple, suture removal, procedure assist, and sharps safety.
Follow clinical guidelines, behavioral standards, and operational expectations established by clinic leadership and clinic policies and procedures manual.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Formal training which will probably be indicated by graduation from an Accredited MedicalAssistant program or equivalent on-the-job training and experience working in this field appropriate additional experience may be substituted.
Demonstrated knowledge of health care field and medical specialty.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Core competencies in communication, customer service, teamwork, ethics, and confidentiality.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willing to travel to multiple locations.
Physical Requirements
The work environment is the typical medical office environment. The employee must be able to complete their work satisfactorily in an environment where there are significant distractions, including staff, patients, and vendors walking through and conversing, telephones ringing, conversations carrying over, loud noises, and interruptions to answer questions from others.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls up to 8 hours per day. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear up to 8 hours per day. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl up to 8 hours a day.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and should do so in a sound and safe manner.
