Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:
Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
Document services performed on computerized charting system.
Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
Perform additional tasks as needed.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications:
Current ND Nursing Assistant certification required.
Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
Ability to work a consistent work schedule.

Must have a current MN TMA Certification.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assists with all daily living activities of the residents (oral care, hair care, dressing, feeding, bathing, toileting, etc.) to ensure safety, comfort, health, and hygiene as needed.
Provides activity and exercise as required for each individual resident as needed.
Assists in providing nutrition and fluids that help meet elimination needs when needed.
Disposes of medications that have previously been discontinued per prescribing orders, abiding by Eventide's policy.
Writes physician orders on medication sheets as directed by the Charge Nurse.
Adheres to safe lifting procedures, following all associated policies.
Completes all required in-service sessions and trainings throughout the year.

**Qualifications**

Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually based on state requirements. Maintains all department specific required certifications. Job DescriptionThis position is located at the white earth Service Unit, Ogema , Minnesota, Area Indian Health Service. Scope of Worka. Following all infection control and OSHA protocols in line with Dental Department policy b. Protecting all patient health information in HIPAA policies
c. Providing dental chair-side assistance with all routine dental procedures
d. Preparing patient for dental procedure to be performed
e. Proper cleaning and disinfection of dental operatories as per JSU Dental policy
f. Preparing dental operatory with appropriate instruments and materials
g. Updating patients' medical history and other forms and medical history in Dentrix
h. Updating patients' Dentrix notes as directed by dentists
i. Positioning and exposing dental radiograph
j. Applying topical fluoride for patients as directed by dentist
k. Providing toothbrush prophylaxis to pediatric patients as directed by dentist
l. Taking alginate dental impressions
m. Performing routine dental laboratory procedures -fabricating dental models and custom tray
n. Preparing dental laboratory prescriptions per dentist instructions
o. Maintaining sundry supplies in dental operatory
p. Sterilization of dental instruments
q. Providing patient education - oral hygiene instruction, post-operative wound care, etc.
r. Preparing and explaining various dental consent forms to patients
s. Performing minimal dental receptionist duties as needed
t. Measuring patient vital signs
u. A valid Dental Assistant Certification is preferred
Work ScheduleMonday - Friday 8 - 4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break

Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet our patients and customers as they enter the store, identify patients' need to ensure an easy and memorable experience while providing promotional products and services available. Answer customers' inquiries and gather necessary information to facilitate sales.
Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
Schedule and confirm appointments, enter new patient history and personal information in the system, complete pre-test; obtain brief medical history, complete noncontact tonometry auto refraction, visual acuity, color test, stereopsis test, amsler grid test, etc.
Assist Management Team with patient complaint resolution and inform the status of all jobs; ensure all patient expectations are met.
Ensure brand standards by performing basic housekeeping duties when necessary.
Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames and edge stock lenses to expedite delivery of eyeglasses, and ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Ensure brand standards are met in the lab area, and notify management of equipment malfunctions, incomplete orders, incorrect lenses, etc.
Keep track of delivery time commitments to patients (Now Service, Ready When Promised) to ensure 100% compliance.
Other duties as assigned and required
Key Qualifications
You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
You have 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
You have the skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
You implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with the patients.
You remain proactive and execute problem solving skills to address potential patients concerns or rebuttals.
You have a collaborative spirit, while building respectful and cordial relationships with your team and patients.
You are driven by results and have the ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
You have a passion for customer satisfaction and maintain a positive demeanor.
