Ensure proper processing and specimens are securely enclosed for transport to the lab.

Ensure materials/supplies/equipment are fully stocked and available.

* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Previous experience in a medical setting
* Phlebotomy experience
* Computer Proficient and knowledge of EMR systems
* Bilingual (English/Spanish), Creole a plus

We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team two Saturdays per month. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys surgical assisting, providing high-quality patient care, and working in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the oral surgeon during all surgical procedures
Prepare, maintain, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
Obtain radiographs as required
Monitor patients pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively
Provide clear post-operative instructions to patients
Support infection control and OSHA compliance standards
Requirements:
Previous dental assisting experience; oral surgery experience preferred
Current X-ray certification
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
Reliability and ability to work efficiently in a clinical environment
Schedule:
Two (2) Saturdays per month
