RESPONSIBILITIES
Hospital Corpsmen (HM) assist health care professionals in providing medical care to Navy personnel and their families. They may function as clinical or specialty technicians, medical administrative personnel and healthcare providers at medical treatment facilities. Specifically, Hospital Corpsmen may be called upon to:
Perform emergency medical treatment on SEALs, Seabees, Marines and other military personnel injured in the field, as well as on Sailors aboard ships or aircraft
Perform emergency dental treatment as well as construct dental crowns and bridges, process
dental X-rays and operate X-ray equipment
Serve as an operating room technician for general and specialized surgery
Help administer a wide range of preventive care and medications, including immunizations and intravenous fluids
Conduct physical examinations and assisting in the treatment of diseases and injuries
Maintain patient treatment records, conduct research and perform clinical tests
Assist Navy Physicians and Nurses in a variety of medical fields, including, but not limited to: radiology, physical therapy, phlebotomy, dental, surgery, family medicine, pathology, womens health and more

Administers medications and vaccines safely following the rights of medication administration.

Demonstrates effective and timely communication, teamwork, and appropriate escalation.

Responsibilities:
Triage patients to be seen by providers which include, but are not limited to rooming patients, taking vitals, merging patient charts and communicating directly with patients Assist providers in exam rooms Effectively process messages between patients and administration or other medical offices Report to office manager and/or practice administrator

Willingness to cross-train on all other clinical responsibilities including but not limited to MA/Fluoro tasks.
Education And Experience:
Experience using EClinical Works or other EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems preferred
1-year clinical experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and efficient team member to join our dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will assist providers with medical and surgical dermatology procedures, patient care, and administrative tasks, ensuring a safe, smooth, and positive experience for every patient.
Clinical Duties:
Prepare exam rooms and surgical suites for procedures.
Assist providers with dermatology exams, biopsies, excisions, and other dermatologic procedures.
Properly handle and label biopsy specimens for laboratory processing.
Perform wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes as directed.
Administer medications and injections per provider orders and in accordance with scope of practice/licensure.
Maintain infection control and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Take and document patient vital signs, medical history, and allergies.
Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure care, medications, and treatment plans.
Accurately document clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Maintain stock of medical supplies and prepare orders as needed.

What You'll Do:
As a MedicalAssistant or LPN you will be an integral member of the BRH medical team assisting with the direct care of patients and clinic activities. We are looking for a team player that can help build a positive environment with a desire to work in an interdisciplinary healthcare team and with a culturally diverse patient population. Responsibilities include:
Working in a fast-paced medical office setting
Assisting providers with delivering quality patient care
Obtaining and recording vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.)
Performing basic medical procedures such as blood draws and EKGs
Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
Recording patient information in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Answering phones, responding to inquiries, and relaying information to providers
Adhering to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Contributing to a positive and cooperative team environment
What We're Looking For:
Knowledge of medical terminology and common medical documentation preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
MedicalAssistant Certification or Registered MedicalAssistant preferred- Must obtain certification within 18 months of hire date if not currently certified (We can help you get it - ask us how!)
Licensed Practical Nurses - NC licensure preferred (we will pay for your license renewal!)
Medical phone triage experience preferred
Ability to float between nearby clinical sites as needed
Bi-Lingual (preferred, but not required - we pay extra per hour for your language skills)
