The Scribe position is responsible for assisting the physician in accurately documenting and transcribing interactions between the patient and physician. The position works collaboratively with nursing and clerical staff to maintain efficient patient flow and performs other patient-related tasks as assigned by the physician. Also works to be personal and professional assistant to offer personalized support to the physician. Responsibilities: Accompanies physician into the patient examination room, in order to transcribe a history and physical examination as given by the patient and physician, including proper charting of the examination and recommendations for treatment.
