JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
Complete all necessary competencies.
Perform/document vital signs, withdrawal scores, CLIA- waived testing such as blood glucose measurement and document/communicate progress of clients to LIP or medical treatment area personnel.
Ensure that Medical Rooms are clean
File medical papers on current and discharged clients
Fill hygiene requests weekly for all clients
Fill vitamin boxes weekly for all clients
Gather necessary info/papers/IDs/insurance cards prior to clients' medical appointments;
Assist with appointment tracker entries
Maintain inventory weekly for first aid products
Maintain inventory weekly for hygiene products
Maintain weekly inventory of OTC products
Any other tasks assigned by the medical office manager or LIP
Knowledge of recovery, mental health and other co-occurring disorders and experience in working with addiction in a residential and / or intensive outpatient milieu.
Requirements:
Must possess a current, valid and unrestricted license or certification as a CMA
Prefer at least 2 years of experience with license/ certification

Mission:
The primary role of the Surgical Assistant is to assist the Oral Surgeons with clinical procedures including assisting with surgery and all pre- and post-op procedures plus contributing to a "white gloves" treatment of our patients.
Key Responsibilities of the Surgical Assistant :
Prepare patients for consultations
Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending to their individual needs and concerns

Responsibilities
The Point of Care Medical Laboratory Assistant is responsible for performing phlebotomy as well as point of care testing as part of the daily laboratory operations as assigned by the laboratory manager. These duties include (but are not limited to):

Knowledge of medical office procedures, basic computer skills, and patient flow in a primary care setting is preferred. Position requires skills in verbal and written communication, multi-tasking as well as proficiency in time management and organizational skills. Preference will be given to candidates with previous medical office experience. Medicalassistants must hold a certification or registration that is recognized by a certifying board of their field such as American Association of MedicalAssistants (AAMA) or American Medical Technologist (AMT). Employee is responsible for maintaining requirements of certification and providing evidence of this to the organization as requested.
