Assist in completion of forms and documentation for provider review and signature. Schedule appointments and procedures; answer calls and messages in a timely manner. Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services as needed. Perform monthly, weekly, and annual inspection and testing of equipment used in the clinic. Recognize and interpret basic heart rhythms on EKGs and rhythm strips. Maintain effective communication with patients, explaining procedures clearly within the scope of practice. Ensure physician orders for procedures are entered accurately and consult appropriate resources to clarify orders when necessary.
