About the Certified Medical Assistant Position The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for performing a variety of duties working collaboratively with the medical provider and care coordinators/site coordinator. MA is part of a team creating an atmosphere that is receptive to other's thoughts and concerns to provide compassionate care between our patients and effective communication to the staff. The MA is involved in both the clinical and clerical duties of the practice to deliver optimal patient care services within the scope of the medical assistant's professional expertise.
