Ensures the patient's room number has been recorded on the encounter ticket and the ticket is placed in either the door or chart holder. Exam room cleaning includes disposing of table paper and gowns, cleaning contaminated surface areas such as door handles, blood pressure cuffs, chairs and pulls bars as time allows. Maintains working knowledge of OSHA compliance standards and applies these policies and procedures to daily responsibilities. Responsible for completing, in a timely manner, all AMP training and in-services, including but not limited to annual OSHA training and PPD placements.
