About the role:
This part-time role, offering flexibility with 12-28 hours per week, is designed to support all aspects of fraud prevention in the Risk Management Department. Position Objective:
The MedicalAssistant is a clinical role and is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. Prepare both patient and room for examination

Provide both patient and provider support during procedures by handing instruments or equipment to the physician as directed
Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after use and dispose of contaminated supplies
Perform clinical duties including administration of oral and injectable medications, irrigation of eyes and ears, dresses and bandages wounds and incisions, starts and monitors IV infusion, and assists physicians with any/all procedures as requested

Perform in-office CLIA-waived lab tests
Carry out quality controls related to lab equipment and testing, complete and maintain lab-related logs, perform PT/INR utilizing CoaguChek/Coag Sense machine, and perform glucose testing utilizing glucometer
Accurately complete electronic medical records to include medical services rendered, test results, and supplies used
Monitor disposable inventory and place orders for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as requested
Draw blood and process specimens for send-out
Provide patient education as directed by the provider
Assist front office tasks by performing additional clerical duties, including patient check-in/out, referrals, prescription medication management, inbound/outbound telephone calls etc.

Responsible for drug screening to include urine, hair and blood.
Ensures collections are collected according to Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
Responsible for in house procedures such as EKG, audio, PFT, A1c, UA, etc.
Collect vitals, i.e. height, weight, BP, pulse and 02 Sats.
Responsible for administering vaccines as directed and through manufacturing guidelines and documenting appropriately.
Responsible for general office duties that accompany the job duties and assisting when needed throughout the clinic.
Perform patient call backs three days after the office visit.
Must have the ability to learn/conduct in-services and procedures regarding the job responsibilities.
Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Administrative duties including filing, answering phones, greeting patients, office cleanliness, FL Shot, scanning and other daily tasks that are assigned.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
* You will answer phones, and greet and focus on our donors, while ensuring the safety of donors and our team.
* You will screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
* You will use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
* You will help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company approved procedures.
* You will be there for our donors, which includes working a variety of shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.
What you bring to Takeda:
