Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Must follow client's aide plan task provided on app and or in the home.
Must complete daily task via EVV and or by completing an electronic copy of time sheet.
Encourage clients with self-help.
Ability to provide basic personal care such as: bathing, grooming, ambulating, meal preparation (attention being given to special diet needs), assisting with feeding, oral hygiene, assist with limited and standby transfers, and ability to utilize certain special equipment i.e. walkers, wheelchairs, and other personal care task designated on the plan of care.
Always utilize safety precautions, follow universal precautions, and follow infection control procedures.
Secondary tasks (for the client only) may include, but are not limited to washing clothes and bed linens, cleaning the client's living space, ironing, buying groceries and preparing meals.
Always maintain a clean and safe environment and notify Action Health Staffing of any potentially dangerous issues.
Contact Action Health Staffing regarding any unusual changes noted in the client's condition.
Always respect client's confidentiality/privacy and Patients' Bill of Rights.
Always provide quality care to clients. Do not perform any task that is not noted in the client's care plan; do not practice beyond your scope of credentials. Seek guidance from Actions Home Care Manger, or Actions designated staff member when unclear on any task.
Always be aware of your client's limitations. Be aware of their whereabouts while still offering them privacy.
Only assist with self-administration of medications - Never administer directly.

8. Positions patient's safely under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician. Knows and practices safe positioning techniques according to case specific needs including prone positioning, holding patient in safe position for regional anesthesia, and lateral positioning.
9. Observes activity occurring in the unit and responds to needs appropriately.
10. Assemble and disassemble various bed attachments for surgical procedures such as various frames, beds, and surgical equipment. Must understand which accessories can and can not be used with the various surgical beds. Must know surgical bed set‐up according to case specific needs and surgeon preference.
11. Practices aseptic technique by doning sterile gloves to eliminate contamination while lift arms and/or legs for an extended period of time to assist in preparation of surgical site.

Phlebotomist Floater under the direction of the area supervisor performs daily phlebotomy activities of the Patient Service Center (PSC) or In-office Phlebotomy (IOP) accurately and on time. Phlebotomist Floater works assisting with coverage of client locations as needed. Travel is required. The person in this position interacts with the client, patients, and other PathGroup personnel in a professional and courteous manner and performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ready to travel to a client assignment within a designated region with short notice.

Ensures all field phlebotomy and PSC specimens are collected accurately and on time.
Collects specimens according to established procedures. Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required. Disposes of blood or other biohazard fluids or tissue, in accordance with applicable laws, standards, or policies. Disposes of contaminated sharps, in accordance with applicable laws, standards, and policies.
Completes requisitions accurately.
Enters patient, specimen, insurance, or billing information into computer. Requires attention to detail to maintain high level of accuracy. Communicate with clients to confirm handwritten orders, verify test(s) ordered, obtain accurate billing information, i.e. diagnosis codes, UPIN information, etc.
Researches test/client information utilizing lab computer system.
Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
Package specimens for transport. Stores specimen sample according to required temperature, places samples in appropriate collection container/ tube, accurately labels, follows different procedures as outlined by specific to protocol deemed necessary for transport to maintain integrity of the specimen. Demonstrates proficiency of proper collection methods and proper processing of all specimens.
Maintains required records and documentation.
Maintains daily records and all appropriate PSC/IOP Phlebotomy logs.
Assist with compilation of monthly statistics and data.
Performs basic clerical duties, i.e. filing, faxing, and preparing mail. The person in this position is required to perform electronic data entry.
Approves time in in attendance software by noon on the Monday following the end of the pay period. Submits accurate expense and travel logs Monday for the week prior or as directed by management.

Key Performance Area II: Performance Management of Subordinate Employees
Oversees personnel who direct site-level and department activities that implement the organization's policies; positions managed include Team Leaders (intra-site), and Clinical staff (LPNs, MAs, MLT, Phlebotomist, X-Ray).
